I've never seen it in a theater either.

Try falling asleep to Tough Guys Don't Dance one night. I really think it is their masterpiece in terms of bad movies with bad one liners. They even hired Robert Towne to insert some of the best/worst oneliners in movie history.

A lot of my joy in the film probably came from my low expectations and the film itself actually being a pretty solid thriller with a cool twist ending. Not great you are right but certainly worth watching.

. . . the legacy of Cannon beats on in your slumber patterns. I love it!

In answer to your question about Sacrificed Youth all the actors were amateurs. Is there a good print of this available somewhere? I have only seen it in a faded 16 mm print with a distractingly scratchy soundtrack and almost unreadable subtitles (making the voice over narration useless). I'd love to see it again in a

Mishima is one of those one off great films where everything comes together perfectly. To me it is a better film than either Light Sleeper or Affliction (which are both powerful films) but also not really comparable because it is more a work of visual poetry than a traditional film. That said, I would watch Light

Sorry to be the bearer of the bad news about Black Jesus but the show actually gets weaker in later episodes.

I want my red stapler!

I actually went back and watched Particle Fever a second time which is a rare thing for me to do with a documentary. It was great.

The studio executive who decided that Paddy Cheyefsky should be teamed up with Ken Russell probably got his head handed to him but it produced one of the the best films of the 1980's. I forget which critic is was who said that every line Altered States sounds like the title of someone's master's thesis (and they

I watched Spike Lee's Oldboy and I thought it was a good movie. I haven't seen the original or had the ending spoiled for me so that may have been a factor. I know it was a huge bomb at the box office and was criticized heavily for not adding to anything to the original but I think it was Lee's best film in a long

Well that's that a relief. Let's keep it hush hush though because some damn kid will go out and lasso one just to see if it works. Damn kids.

Hey, no spoilers! That scene already got ruined for me on Community

I believe such a casting change was mentioned in Revelations as being one of the final signs of the end times. If anyone needs me I will be in my bunker.

It does have that "how can this possibly not suck?" ring to it.

I am having a hard time imaging her doing anything worse. Perhaps a Mighty Mophine Power Rangers reset where she plays that evil Queen with the bad hair?

Yes if anything what we need is more retreads of Neil Simon plays that became a movie, then a TV show, then a sequel. I am eagerly awaiting the video game for my X-Box One. Hopefully it will have a Kinects feature that actually allows you clean up as Felix and a two player mode that allows you to mess as Oscar.

Speaking of shitty theories: all this talk of Nietzche and no one has brought up Nazi's yet? Where is Godwin's law now? Lucky I showed up when I did!

I was about to say it was past his bedtime actually.

Play "Freebird!"
