Well that's just like, your opinion man.

I thought it was more of a Kierkegaardian discussion on Christian existenstialism and the use of nihilism was the 'awareness of dispair' that Kierkegaard wrote about. This was squared off against the tenets of free will and self preservation in Harelson's charactar. The interior of the show was all about coping

It was also his way of admitting that the world is not shaped by despair but that his own perception of the word is. It's actually a very existential moment in which he turns his philosphy back on himself.

"You gotta meet once a week and tell stories that violate every known law in the universe? What does that say about your 'effing reality?"

I was agreeing with you.

Actually the show makes a very hardline case against Cohle's philosophy and even the most cynical version of the author's intentions would include a summery judgement that Cohle's ramblings were a crutch he used to deal with his inner demons. In fact the last three episodes are almost entirly about his own redemption

"What's going on inside my head is not something that gets better."

I actually don't think those Tweets are all that time consuming. They certainly didn't require any thought.

You couldn't handle Wayne Brady in HD!

Damnit I finally got to own all the railroads and now every one wants to bail. I don't care how many Presidential elections we missed we are finishing this game!

They still make game shows? I see them pop up on my viewer guide but I always thought they were re-runs from the 1990's or something.

I think you just did.

CSI: OMB or GTFO!

Has anyone done the Of Cock joke yet

or did I get here first?

I thought it reached it peak like two weeks ago and they should have cancelled it then so it would go out on top before it was too late and they like made an episode or something.

I going to let you finish but Morrisey's been making crazy statements like this since before West was born.

I just want the money. I miss it. Sue me! You won't get anything though. I spent it all on baldness cures.

The only thing I liked in that movie was Bruce Dern. Everything and everyone else was simply not up to par. It wasn't like a Peter Bogdonovich tribute or something where each scene was carefully crafted to bring back memories of a bygone era. It was more like a series of skits that came together into something not

Don Knotts ruined that movie.

I do respect the way she left the world but to me it was the only time she didn't sell out. I still think she was very cynical and her work was almost a snub or a mocking pffft at the American public. It was almost "I can do crap like this in my sleep and you will still come and see it because you are all idiots."
