Buick competes with Lexus directly - particularly in their volume ES line.  Some argue that Buick makes a better Lexus than Lexus does....a Cadillac (should be) in another orbit/space entirely, as it’s not the same market audience.

Buicks were ALWAYS nice cars - but Cadillac was nicer...something to aspire to - and expensive being part of the point of the whole deal. Cadillac needs to be Cadillac....huge motors that are ridiculously smooth (electric can actually emulate that in whole or in part). Suspensions that are like a MyPillow - DEAD…

that looks like a Mazda - so nobody will buy it for twice the money.  Fail. 

really?   I’m a Lincoln guy in an MKS that rides like a brick even on comfort setting in the suspension.
