need one that says “No Regerts” and I’ll buy it for my Jalopy
dang it - why am I still gray????
I had one of these - in LS guise - 10 grand in repairs is the prelude to the nightmare that owning one of these will be. Never again. This platform was utterly robbed of its potential - and the neutered version that underpinned the following generation of Mustangs had NONE of the magic that the DEW was capable of. …
who? The Harley executives crapping their pants over their business tanking? Or are you illogically referring to me? Or someone else?
no biggie. good dialogue doesn’t happen in tweet sized thoughts and sentences. *hat tip*
did you even read my comment? that’s quite exactly my point. Posers and wusses come in many shapes and in all genres. A beardo in tight jeans can be a poser just as easily as a ‘biker’ in a pre-patched vest from Amazon who’s doing 200 miles a year maybe on a $20K garage queen and needs the dealer to install his turn…
fat yuppie friends who have never changed their own Harley oil are probably wusses with Harleys - kinda the point of my post.
like the reply to the other guy - did you not actually read what I wrote? too many trigger words threw you off? I’m literally ripping on the same thing you are! NOWHERE in this am I trying to glamorize or ‘fit in’ to the tired old, watered down and dying out HD Demo....young 20's millenial who’s got 2 cool toys is…
did you literally not read what I wrote? nice bike - zero wuss.
dumbasses, not wusses - yup
it must suck to live a life so hollow as to root for others’ demise with giddy excitement. That’s just sad, and I will pray for you.
of course....but i’m GenX, hardly overpaid, and in pretty decent ‘dad bod’ shape, but thanks for stereotyping me anyhow.
winky smiley
Exactly, Poop. It’s literally a matter of nothing more than managing expenses to revenue. Harley doesn’t NEED to sell a 1/4 million bikes a year...they WANT to, and have structured their business accordingly. Scale down, problem solved...but that’s gonna be a lotta fat cats getting whacked in the process.
me too. Never owned a Harley, all Hondas and Yammys for me. I ain’t defending Harleys, not that there’s anything wrong with Harleys if that is what a dude wants.
no, but I recognize that some people will see it that way at first blush, without taking the time to actually understand the point. It’s relatively advanced rhetoric that not everyone can hang with.
clearly you’re not a wuss, bongo - i’ll bet you weld better beads than I do.....but seriously, why are the ‘us’ (you) so bothered by biker dudes’ loud hubris and their ‘back in the good ol’ days mentality’...in what way does that ‘damage your future’? A touch superlative, no? They ain’t bothered by your crochet…
most folks wouldn’t want to be like me - but then again, most folks wouldn’t want to be like you, or anyone else either. Why you feel the need to say things like that?
i work in an auto parts factory and I don’t own a Harley. Quit assuming things - you are embarrassing yourself again.
