There are very few 1977 model year vehicles I would ever consider. This, in that color, is very tempting.

S2000 has a longitudinal mounted 6-speed with the linkage directly attached to the trans. Accord is a FWD platform with a transaxle. Not the same thing. 

Yeah, it was a very special car when it was new, and prices have reflected that since it’s been out of production. But it seems silly to buy this rather than a lightly used Miata/GR86 (once Miata supply catches up anyway, it’s been silly out there the last couple years).

Greatest generation truck platform, the rarity of a 5 speed manual, the availability of parts for dirt cheap to keep this thing running indefinitely, it really doesnt matter if theres anything wrong with it, this is a good buy. I’m gonna be straight up: This thing, to me, looks good. Not “good for a Pinto,” just good. I love the shooting brake style, I think the lines of this model work quite well as a wagon, and the woodie panels are icing on the cake. Interior looks nicely sorted, too.

Same here. A quick blast of Easy Start and it fires right up. I have never had an issue with gas breaking down, even in my old plow truck (gas) which sits for almost a year. It also fires right up. This whole gasoline degradation thing has always seemed to be overblown to me.

Good lord, no. It looks good from behind. So do I - but my mileage and baggage are far too extensive for me to recommend a hookup.
