I’m guessing a PPI will reveal why exactly this car is being quickly sold again for $10,000 less than the owner recently paid. I would normally grant a conditional NP as well, but something doesn’t feel right about this one.

A reluctant Nice Price. That $8K just gets you into the ballpark, but represents just a tiny amount of what you’re going to ultimately be spending. The V8 addition manages to be both a Plus and a friggin’ Minus in terms of collectability.

The Kia might not be a van... but it’s got boring in spades!

“Active lifestyle cars aren’t for you to actually live an active lifestyle in. They’re so other people will make value-based judgments about your social life.”

“Easy to get in and out of because you’re fat and have bad knees.”

Don’t believe everything you read.  The pic says armoalled old rubber.

It’s the weekend. What do you want, another Goodyear exposé?

Bring-A-Trailer is a wonderful place to see all sorts of exotic, unusual, rare, offbeat, bizarre, impossible to find, and otherwise drool-worthy machines. I’m on the site far too many times every day for sound mental health. It’s fantastic entertainment, like watching the Barrett-Jackson auctions.

Anyone with experience with these cars knows the financial peril that comes along with them. Something is always breaking/broken, and it’s never a cheap fix. Along with that, the transverse engine layout in the tiny engine compartment make it a nightmare to work on. And honestly, when they are running, they're not all

The propane contributed a lot of that moisture. When burning cleanly, it produces CO2 and water vapor. Lots of water vapor.

Worst part of winter car camping (and winter camping in general) is dealing with the moisture buildup. It takes a lot of heat to keep things dry and shaking frost off of sleeping bags gets pretty old quick.

Uber can’t make you drive on any particular day.

Know what’s great about the gig economy?  If you work for a company that is treating you badly, isn’t paying you what you think you’re worth, etc, you can leave.

What?

Yes but they are free people. You should not remove choices simply because some people make bad ones. Singapore is a nice place to visit but I don’t want to live there.

So are the 900,000 Uber drivers the dumbest f***s on the planet or is it just possible that those “facts” are cherry-picked by people that can’t stand for people to have employment choices, even bad ones?

THANK you! That was my thought on the subject. "HELP! I've racked up a zillion dollars in loads so I could take six years to finally get my bachelors in communications!"

Boomers caused both bubbles. They are the ones controlling the money supply and the interest rates and they are the ones that decided that investments should be made into various industries. And they are the ones that will soon retire and have the power to suck this country dry.
