that’s exactly the point - this is no dice because there’s better units out there for this price bracket kind of toy - a LOT of better ways to spend 4 grand than this one.

we jumped that shark years ago, man

nothing more expensive than a cheap BMW.  No freaking way.

that’s the way to know to walk away -

LOL -  nOPPe

this is the right take on this.  it gives me feels too.

if nothing else, this is Best of Craigslist stuff right here.  Props to the dude, and the original owner for being good stewards of their worldly posessions.

just no.  it’s a Fiat.  zero stars.

it’s a solid ‘maybe’ from me - would be a decent high school kid car, and the money ain’t bad assuming it passes a reasonable test drive and a little driveway discount.

this is actually the right answer.

An ES (same car) will actually be less expensive than the Avalon, in an ironic way...supply/demand and all those economicalitics in play and what not.

good pick.

Town Car has all of those things, Marg...provided a guy can plug in a cellphone.  When I did 60 each way for a decade, that was the car that made it not suck.  I get the stigma, but once a guy gets past that, he sees the Zen of the Town Car solution.

what exactly is going on in this picture?

agreed - correct take.  I would buy.  I would drive.  I would de-murder it.  6 grand.

if it won’t fit in my garage, it’s not a viable toy - cool, but ND from me.

Thunderbird. Full stop.

It’s not that nice, nor is it even  very clean.....story is a touch overbaked here.

these things will for sure nickel and dime ya - but if you can wrench yourself, they’re cheap and easy and far better choice than any Jeep of the same price or vintage.

All day long and twice on Sunday, assuming it starts, tops, turns, and doesn’t make any really really bad noises along the way. Tires and wheels alone are worth close to a 1/3rd of that.
