You sure don’t know your wuman ABCs because I eat wumaos for breakfast and shit down your tiny little throats. I have been anti-Communist since before your Daddy was in kindergarten.

Ha! At least it didn’t end in a cliffhanger, the Netflix way.

Good theory. I like this.

When will the rapist be sentenced?

How are the episodes of The Mandalorian not stories? Sure, they spend way too much time and effort satisfying the median fan base, but it works. Andor may not fit in this mold, but it isn’t exactly must-see TV either. There are many much better shows than the over-praised Andor.

I’ve seen this movie twice, and despite its cringey moments and plot holes, not even once did I think this movie had anything to do with Indigeneity. It’s simple entertainment. This sequel is about family. None of it is about history. Some people will like it, many will not see it.

I don’t think Eywa would choose for Pandora to have only one savior. Kiri and her mysterious origin will turn out to be stronger than Jake... in Part 4?

China ripped off Top Gun Maverick before Maverick was even released, because a Chinese company was funding Maverick before it became obvious they were paying for an American propaganda movie and backed out. I bet executives from that company had access to the story of Maverick, so China just ripped it off, thinking

I kinda got that from the interview, but season 2 is already shooting.

It’s not that weird, when that rarely ever happens. When it comes to SW TV shows, casting always involve friends of the producers and directors, so it is kind of unfair to some established talent.

In Maarva’s home we see the ISB have installed cameras to watch her movements, and they’re just like the cameras that Han and Luke shot and destroyed inside the Death Star jail reception area. But in the Special Edition of Star Wars, we see Stormtroopers now upgraded with drone-like units following them around.

Global warming has brought twisters to major cities like NYC...!!! Even more CGI devastation! This is a silly project. Will it be released theatrically?

Is not. Enterprise’s Enterprise is fugly, but that one above ain’t it.

Not great, but not that bad either. But historically non-sensical. Aztecs, Mayans and Incans together. Yeah, right.

I remember Peter Benchley’s The Deep (the novel and the movie starring Robert Shaw, Jacqueline Bisset and Nick Nolte), and I also remember Michael Crichton’s Sphere (the novel and the movie with a big cast). Both, especially the latter one, were major disappointments.

Well, having seen the movie, I’d say it’s not a feminist film, but a film about family, and Neytiri is inexplicably very underused in it.

Indeed. She’s severely underused in this movie. Even Jake, who at times seems underused too, appears clueless at times, without contingency plans. I loved the movie, but can’t stop nitpicking at stuff that made me go WTF.

That doesn’t happen in the movie. We do see a pregnant Neytiri but not during battle. The wife of the leader of the water tribe (voiced by Kate Winslet) is pregnant during the battle but she’s barely in it.

Nope. Kitty the daughter (and adopted daughter of the Sullys) does not have the late doctor’s consciouness, but knows who her mother was.

No, that’s not what happened. It’s not explained but it’s obvious how the brain dead avatar of Sigourney Weaver was able to conceive. That part of the movie was predictable, and if you don’t get it, just pay attention to what Kitty does throughout the movie. No rape was involved.
