Because China. Even more capitalist than the West.

Test flights are not for testing in China? Why risk a payload if you’re only testing the rocket?

Or go to work for Disney/Marvel instead.

Pretty much. But it’s Na’vi and it’s colonel not general. Intern guy is not full-time Na’vi.

Glad my $36 are going to that box office. It’s double that for next week’s second viewing. I saw it in Hong Kong already. Can recommend. Don’t bet against James Cameron.

If you see it this movie, which I did yesterday, I can say that it certainly took them a few years to refine the tech to be able to realize it. Most visual effects-heavy movies (Marvel) nowadays have 6-7 large visual effects companies sharing the work, but this one only has two and it shows how they pushed the

I wouldn’t have seen it if Jackie Chan, an outspoken supporter of the Chinese government, had been in it.

Indeed. Let’s see how the Balinese deal with this decision taken in Jakarta. Won’t look good when they start locking up innocent tourists who didn’t know there were new laws in effect.

His first Trek was a better movie than his two Star Wars sequels.

There was no plan.

Canto Bight was nothing but scenes showcasing the talent of prosthetics and makeup professionals. Canto Bight is mentioned by Mon Mothma in Andor, but it’s silly because it establishes Canto Bight as THE place to go if you’re a gambling person, just like Star Trek always needs to mention Risa whenever the conversation

The second Top Gun was made 34 years after the first one, has the exact same plot, the same music. The sequel to Blade Runner took 35 years to reach the big screen; it was meh.

You saw it already?

Bring back Harper. None of the others is a star.

Sad news. I was just listening to his score for The Beach just last week.
