Sorry, gotta go on a verbiage tangent here: "albeit whittled to its bluntest point?" I understand and agree with the sentiment that Sean is conveying, but if you whittle something to a point, even a blunt point, isn't it by definition less blunt than what you started with? Or am I just being silly?

Yes! I hate Sarah so much, which is really a testament to how great Amy Landecker is in the role.

If you can wait 24 hours I'll take another look and try to post an image. I checked IMDb to see if they listed an actor for a Mrs. Logan—They didn't list anyone, but I got spoiled as to some of the historical figures will be appearing! Oops.

Thanks!

Yeah, definitely the short end of the stock part. There is no joy for Barb. She is used by her friend who then abandons her, mocked, gets injured, then is killed and turned into a slug farm. And then she's mocked some more after she goes missing! It's easy to feel for her as the person who had it the worst in the

But why FOIA the emails? Why not.. you know… ask? Did the documents reveal anything relevant? Not that I can see. And if it's at all of interest, why hasn't anyone bothered to do this for the CIA, FBI, or Department of Defense, who appear in pretty much half the movies and television shows ever made?

I was supposed to be in that small audience! I always regret that I didn't make it. Especially since the second song they recorded on the wax cylinder, "The Edison Museum," is basically my favorite TMBG song: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

Yes, I can't find anywhere a rationale for why Lachlan Markey did this. Maybe next he can FOIA the Department of Energy to see what they thought of Luke Cage? He can FOIA the IRS to see what they thought of Top of the Lake. The pointless possibilities are endless!

Don't worry, he'll get better once it's revealed he's been working for Hydra all along.

I thought so too, and wouldn't have minded (Shantel VanSanten is great), but the final shot of Wyatt looking at a photo of his dead wife showed her as a different actress.

I watched HC3 just recently. At first I thought it was beyond terrible. By the end I had gotten in sync with what it was doing and I wound up loving it. But I would never recommend it to anyone.

Hey, I find mashed potatoes extremely interesting!

Wait, was that a deliberate, creepy "how can this be?" moment, or an accidental plot hole?

Seriously, this has the "schlumpy husband/hot wife" dial turned up into the red zone. The audience's suspension of disbelief cannae take it, Captain!

I remember that comic. The one with the creepy dead woman walking on the street late at night in Japan?

Well, it affects you in that there's finally a stadium with a lamer name than Citizens Bank Park, which sounds like an off-brand Red Chinese knockoff of a real bank.

Awesome! These two are both really funny and I need more justification for paying for Hulu during the summer.

Just bought Playdead's Inside for the PS4 yesterday and it's a nearly non-stop stream of epiphanies. It's great because there are so few actions you can take in any given situation, so the solution is often using one of those actions in an unexpected way. It makes me unreasonably proud of myself to figure these things

Up voted for Superfuzz. Loved that movie.

A plurality of voters wrote in Barb. So now the president is 19-year-old actress Shannon Purser being told what to say by the Duffer Brothers.
