Channel 4 was very controversial when it started, being slightly more liberal with respect to swearing and nudity.  Similar to the parental advisory thing in the US, Channel 4 ended up having a warning red triangle in the corner of the screen which Ali G later famously described as “guaranteeing muff”.

Man, that two part Wicked movie is really one of the all time bad ideas.  It seems to be a common problem with musicals that most of the best stuff is in the first act, but with Wicked it seems doubly true.  Am I just forgetting because it’s been that long since I’ve seen it?
