I might just be thinking that he voiced Supes in Superman Unbound, an animated film...

The fact that the adaptation is scripted by the guy who adapted last year’s My Policeman adaptation which I found cliche and mediocre—and that these both have a similar flashback “oh look gay jerky guy is now married and his lover is all alone and dying” setup—had me a bit concerned (to be fair, I hadn’t read

(I’ll also say, that’s not a hot take, even if I find it an annoying one for the reasons I said.  It seems to be the standard take from many right now...)

Right, because Hollywood is known to never cast cookie cutter great looking leading men in straight roles.

He screentested didn’t he?  Though that might have been way back when I first saw him on Guiding Light as a serial killer...

One reason I hated Hollywood so so much. I get that Murphy and Ian Brennan were pretty open that it was a fantasy take on history (even if this led Murphy to claim in an interview that he was trying to do Rock Hudson proud by showing the impact he could have had “if he had been brave enough to come out” YUCK,) but it

Yeah, honestly, I’m ready to personally backlash against people complaining about gay movies with “sad endings.” (Especially when they deal in historical aspects that haven’t really been covered before—and trust me, most people I know are not aware of how hard the McCarthy era went after gays.)

It’s great we’re

Yeah this doesn’t bother me whatsoever.  I admit, my pet peeves are nitpicks.  I hate when, presumably just to make gameplay easier, someone will constantly say “what is” even if referring to a person.  And I also find it a bit unfair when only last names are given for every person answer.  Though, I completely

Age of Innocence at 17??  Booo.

What did I miss? “

Yes, exactly.

Not a bad list really--though I wish my fave of the gonzo mystery slashers, Happy Birthday to Me, had made the cut.

I ultimately was more invested in Gargoyles than B:TAS because of the serialized aspect (which was pretty rare for a non Japanese animated series at the time.)  Of course, the show had such a disappointing third season as a Saturday morning series, so it had more network censorship (due to the strange issue that

This is an article about people misinterpretating Jada’s words that says:

I really liked Usher in the end, but careful--the speeches intensify as the show goes on.

Three’s Company was a huge part of my childhood. I was surprised when a guy I was dating, who I was visiting in New York said I had to see her one woman show—that it was the definition of camp. I give her guts for turning a song from Guys and Dolls into a song about her own abuse (and I am not mocking her troubled

SNL has a history of doing this...

It got a mention for Heidi fully committing to the physical comedy.

I think Bly was Gothic in the true sense of the word. A creepy atmosphere and even some scares, but the focus isn’t on the horror. (Something that they tried with the movie Crimson Peak but in the end couldn’t commit to.)  And I’m down for that.

Of course we know the much bleaker originally script Hill House ending.  I wonder if, now that he’s had success with these shows, he would have stuck to his guns and used the original ending?
