the sound of the dot matrix printer is the sound of my elementary school homework being printed at the last minute.
I think that's the same way I feel with physical books and comics from my youth. There's a certain smell that takes you back. Still, I do love the fact that digital takes up only as much space as the hard drive or mem card.
It's all relative. Some day people will talk about the old days when Halo was on Xbox.
A few others touched on it, but what I miss the most is when everyone who had a computer was into computers. It was a quick and easy way to identify others in your tribe. Now you have to test the waters to see if the other person will be confused if you mention Python or Linux.
You know what's sad? By the time I got there - all that was gone. q:o(

holy crap - is that a real anime scene or just a doctored gif?
sounds fun. How often do you double-check the sender field in the text? hehe
Sometimes the easiest things are also the easiest to look over. I always wondered when to buy stuff during the summer sales and I was always worried I'd miss out on a better flash sale or daily sale. I never stopped to realize that waiting until the last day was the best way to make sure that if a title was going to…
hehe - didn't really think of it as a form of foreplay. The previous reply here were more of what I usually thought of it as - you're far from someone or can't see them for days so here's something for wanking.
