The Conti DWS's are excellent tires.  They're good in the snow, quiet, nice handling in the summer and not too expensive.  I drive 30k miles per year in New England with my 2015 Forte 5 and have never had a problem in the snow.

You don’t have to. Just 25+1 people need to understand the point (although there’s probably more really really ridiculously rich people who are kicking themselves for not being able to secure a Regera, and hope to get on the next Keonigsegg dream project).

Pretty much agreed. Too bad, the concept is gorgeous.

Education and a high standard of living isn’t free.

Internet me: This new 3 series is a disgrace for not having a manual! I will never buy one without a manual!

I just find it funny that we eventually had, technically, a Catera Touring Sedan Coupe and a Catera Touring Sedan Wagon.

A car that isn’t in a crash costs nothing to repair.

That kinda makes sense except for the fact that the Z3 and Z4 were pretty similarly sized.

Haha well that’s one way to look at it...

So, what you are saying is, in a McLaren F1 GTR you’re going to finish one way or another?

I think all my blood would not be able to go to the required location with all those G forces!

Viagra is cheaper, you know?

That’s why I drive BMW’s. Depreciation curve is better and parts are cheaper.

Same! I still remember it beating the 355 (my then favorite car), NSX, 911 et in the best handling car over $30k feature back in 97. For the track and autocross crowd, these car’s never were hated on. Especially as the prices dropped. You can beat the crap out of an e36 M3 and it takes it.

At 42 I have a similar take on the M3. My first experience with the e30 was as a passenger in one, where the person who bought it did so because it was the best BMW. That car was so twitchy I kept thinking we were going to end up in the ditch or on the wrong side of the road. The e36 I experienced years later had none

I’m 39 and the E36 has always been the M3 to me. I understand the fuss over the E30, but I learned of it too late to care about it (The E36 already existed, and the E30 was the “old” M3). Reading about the E36 in Car and Driver was my introduction to the M3, and it will always be how I define M3.

People hate on these? Everyone I know has always LOVED them, but then again, I’m 37 so I was prime high school kid gawking at them. My step mom had a 95 328i and I learned to drive stick in it. It was an awesome car, but the M3 was always ‘the holy grail’ with an extra 50hp.

DeMuro, is that you? ;)

Seeing how I own a M40i the SUV isn’t bad despite Jalops hating everything that’s not a wagon, sedan or coupe. Compared to my out going MKII Audi SQ5 (2018) this one handles much better, is faster and more fun to drive.

The name..
