Suck it up, Luke. For $183,000, this is the car you want. And Jalopnik Alum Doug DeMuro fucking LOVED it. (He drives a Mercedes, btw). :-)

Yup. This. Especially electric power steering that changes based on your car’s mode. lol
Kristin, what if you say it both ways?
Well, we’ll put it this way, if I’m in traffic, and a couple cars back from the light, by the time I get to the other side of the intersection, I’m going from 5th to 6th gear. Very, very rapid shifting. :-)
Wear bars? You mean the paddles that they put on tires about halfway down the tread? LOL
Love the ZF 8HP in my car. In traffic, it shifts like a Mack truck. On the highway, cruising at 100mph at 2700RPMs is a godsend. lol
A BMW dig. Wow.
Haven’t met many pickup drivers, have you. lol
Not sure about MB’s system. I’m sure even theirs has a slight delay after you press the button at the end of the stalk before Park is engaged. It’s all electronic, but the transmission parts still have to move to their correct positions. :-)
It does work similarly, you still have to wait for the indicator for “Park” to light up before you take your foot off the brake. But thanks for your input.
I dunno, I deal with this every day, which works very similarly, and I haven’t had much of an issue learning it. I think it has more to do with impatience and not waiting for the pattern to indicate that it’s safe to exit the vehicle.
I would second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and even eighth this. lol
Do you forget that we have $50k government toilet seats down here? lol
My neighbor had this exact car when I was a kid. As a teen in the mid-90's, it was a rolling wet dream.
I think he means a WCC car, not a Kia. lol
Is that you, Hank?
Fuck these people. I used them to finance my last car (because I had shitty credit at the time due to company debt). $10,999. Warranty was mandatory for another huge sum. At 23.99% interest, my total over 54 months was close to $26,000. So glad that I wrecked that car and the insurance company had to deal with them…
Amen brother. Amen.
