Certain counties in Indiana have to undergo “Clean Air Car Check”, which is sort of like CA smog, but not so bad. But it’s paid for by the state. They require cars to be “emissions checked” every two years. Odd numbered year cars on odd numbered years, and even numbered year cars on even numbered years.

That’s all fine and good, but here in Northwest Indiana, we have people who can’t cross the street without entering a different state. Back out of your driveway, you’re in Illinois/Michigan. Come home from work, and you have to leave the state, and then re-enter the state to get there. It’s not like we have fences on

I agree. I never owned an AWD or 4WD in Northwest Indiana until I bought my Honda Accord, which was FWD. They were all rear drivers, and I never had an issue here in the armpit of America. I now have an E90 with xDrive, and it’s nice for convenience purposes, and does better in the snow, but except for Snowpocalypse

I don’t think they can put it any clearer......I think there’s one in Baton Rouge, though.

I’d genuinely have to say the 328 is the best. It’s just enough of everything to be fun. And for winter fun, just add an X. But I dunno, I’m kinda biased. lol

That would be SETRA, btw. Big, beautiful buses. Serta is a mattress company. :-)

They’re Italian. Italians have cool names. Ferrucio Lamborghini is a pretty bad ass name. lol

German cars have them. I assure you it snows plenty. :-)

Never really understood why more cars don’t do it that way. I love it on my BMW. And I’ve liked it on various Mercedes cars that I’ve driven.

My friend just bought a 2015 Patriot last week. I wanted to say “wow, they still make that heaping Neon-platform pile of shit?”, but instead said “oh, well that’s nice.” lol

Definitely spent more than a little time at my friend’s house playing Pole Position on Atari. Could play that shit for HOURS while sitting on the floor. lol

It was the Ford factory immobilizer. Which is required for insurance purposes in the UK.

Jeremy Clarkson’s did. Three times.

And Captain Slow won’t be around to set a speed record with it on Top Gear. Sad panda.

A lot of these qualities are why I like my E90 so much. It’s just fun to drive. I hear a lot of guys talking about how they want a 335 for the extra power, but I don’t think the 328 needs it. No turbos. Just a N/A 230hp Inline-6, which likes screaming towards the redline. And that’s enough to put you into the seat

This, or any K-car platform car with the 2.2L Turbo. I had one of these in white, and it definitely taught me about turbo lag. lol

Wow, registering my 2007 BMW was $144, and only because I chose one of the 120 specialty tags. Next year, that should go down to about $98. No emissions charge, even though testing is required.

I find that as a BMW owner, people treat you completely differently on the road. I drive a modest E90 xDrive, but people on the road either want to race you from every intersection, or drive like a douchebag in front of you when they see you’re in a BMW. I’m really just trying to get where I’m going. It’s totally

The ‘85 Chevette my old man bought for me and restored would do 72. Going downhill. For a while. With a stiff breeze to the rear. With the engine screaming. It wasn’t going 72 that was the problem. It was the mile it took to stop from 72 that was the problem. haha

I totally read that headline as “Littoral Boats”, not “Literal Boats”. But it made me read the article anyways. lol
