Not sure if I have mentioned this before, but also:

Everyone should make paneer at home at least once. It’s not hard, it’s delicious, and it really gives you a good lesson in just how much cheese a half gallon of milk actually makes.

I was thinking the same thing.  Why is he saying “equals not” instead of “not equal to”.  Y’know.  Since I never make simple transposition errors myself.

After round one, I thought “Damn, those are some great choices, but whoever picks steak in the second round gets it.”

Have you tried Izze grapefruit soda? It’s hard to go back to drinking Squirt after trying it a couple of times. It also makes a wonderful N/A mimosa with some OJ, if you give Dryuary a go next time it comes around. I’ll have to give the Jarritos grapefruit a try to see how it compares.

Hardest winner to pick so far among these drafts, but ended up giving it to Kevin.  I think the banh mi was what sealed it for me.  We have some amazing Vietnamese food here in the Twin Cities, so good banh mi are all over the place, and I love them.  Love them!

FalseSymmetry. She is one of the women who play on the Hermitcraft server, which is a really great family friendly group of Minecraft YouTubers/streamers. She’s a fantastic builder, and also the most feared PvP player when they do events that involve that. Stressmonster and ZombieCleo are wonderful too, but Stress

You’re not saying it’s OK to put pineapple on a burger, are you? I certainly hope not.

I could justify eating Noosa more often at Costco prices. If only the flavors in the multi-pack they sell there sounded more appealing.  I mostly eat Chobani when it’s on sale, so when I do have some Noosa, boy is the texture a treat.

Pollo Campero. Wrecks the competition in the fast food chicken flavor department, whether fried *or* grilled. Raising Cane’s was also a boggling chickeny omission since they’re much more widespread, but Campero has the best fast food chicken I’ve ever had. If any of our judges have never been there, and happen to come

I certainly cannot fault anything in this ranking for temporary tributes, but I want to point out that at #16, the Round Rock (TX) Chupacapbras probably qualify as the best candidate on this list for a permanent name change. I’m in no way familiar with any history that the Express name may hold for the team, but

Brilliant. Especially if it has entirely different toppings. You know, for the contrast. In fact, maybe an entirely different type of burger - how about a turkey burger, to keep it light?

I know it’s a personal preference, and that I am in the minority, but chocolate and all fruit flavors have never jived with my palate.  Caramel, nuts, coffee, yes.  Strawberry, raspberry, raisins, banana, no.  The closest I can get is dark chocolate and dessert wines, and even that is not a great match to me.

I have written and deleted so much in replying to this post, I can’t even say how much. I guess what it comes down to is: Caveat Emptor.

Also similarly, white wine is a great way to rinse the dregs of mustard out of a container you otherwise can’t get more out of, and makes a great base for a pan sauce after you sautee some chicken breast chunks. Add some capers and call it a mustard piccata. We’re now up to three ways to save flavorful ingredients by

Beef stew in red wine sauce may well be a home cook’s most powerful weapon, providing the highest ratio of deliciousness to effort available. If this was your first time, maybe make it once more “by the book” to shore up your confidence, then, go nuts. Potatoes are a natural first step (use red potatoes and add

Tater tots. I bet tater tots are even better than fries for this.

Over medium beats over easy?

Portability and ability to eat in a cubicle without a plate and fork - definitely points in favor of hard boiled. I like them “dipped” in salt and black pepper, personally.

Another starchy stratum that over easy is better on than poached.  I’ll have some, too!
