Sounds completely useful for games like FFXIV and other games with crafting gameplay.

So for the Turn-based/ATB lovers, does this really make you feel FF is on the right path? Are you fine with this?

Jason, I think your theory about old games and voice acting is completely valid. I just want to add that for modern day games (realistic, to be specific), voice acting is a must if there is a story going on. FFXIV ARR doesn’t have voice acting and there is always people noticing it’s missing. And I want to point out I

wait...FFVI GBA?!?!?!?! GBA?!?!?!?! Wasn’t the NDS released already??? I am sure it was released by then...

well, no but even though I don’t like over-sexualization either(when it’s not the point of the game, I am looking at you, DOA), I think we are putting too much attention to Cindy’s case.

You lost my point then.

so? everything else in the game should be fine so just ignore it.

Seems the “turn based lovers” are liking it. Cool!

Really? Rikku (FFX-2)? Bravely Default skimpy suits (censored in the west)? Viera Race (FFXII)? FFXIV skin-showing gear (including males)?

I agree with that. I don’t really like how many people complain about FF not being turn-based anymore, to be honest I think being action oriented is fine, but having successful spin offs to differentiate the core game is a good idea. FF Tactics is a good example. So FF16 being turn-based so they can finally get over

The post title is wrong. It’s not “Pause”, it’s “Wait mode”, in which you can stop time and decide your next target and action.

dude...since the very begining of this game, it was intentionally made similar to KH...come on.

I don’t really talk to all those people. In RPG’s you talk to all NPC’s because there aren’t thousands, just dozens. I am fine just listening bypassers and with special NPC’s.

Aww...sadly that’s not true... :( But I hope it gives a decent boost to the NX.

Probably because they would shoot arrows at the eagles? Or they would shoot all the artillery to the flying car? Also, notice that the car looks different, that means they got it at midgame or something. It’s also obvios the point of the game is saving the world, not only arrive to certain place.

And haters say Nintendo is death. This seems pretty much alive to me.

Yes, it’s bad mkt campaign THIS way. Sure, the purpose is to sell more, undeniable, it’s good. BUT by trying to sell with “more popular” elements that doesn’t match with the game is what hurts the game, as people will perceive it differently.

Appealing only to core fans have repeatedly prove that it’s a great mkt

I know man. I think we all fans of FFXV knows that the theme is Somnus, not “Stand by me”. At least the Leona Lewis song didn’t played during FFXIII (at least during the time I played). And even though I admit I liked New World from Charice in FFXIII-2, I still felt it didn’t quite matched. I don’t know why they

I am kinda surprised at such negativity toward this.... I think it’s fine. Not big impressive addition or improvement but it’s ok.

I wonder the same. Yoko Shimomura is a goddess (among other FF composers). They don’t need to do pop remixes. I think it’s bad marketing campaign, in their intention to appeal to broader audiences. They need to be loyal to the core fans, that’s it.
