You think the Cars forced the humans to relocate to reservations in barren wasteland while they appropriate their culture and perpetuate their discrimination?

At least both Cars and The Good Dinosaur can blame some of their shortcomings on problems behind the camera, and both tried to be legitimately good movies. Cars 2 was a transparent commercial for Cars toys, which, I can tell you as a former Walt Disney World retail cast member, sell INSANELY well, better than any…
I think Brave is quite good. It's a complex narrative, which sometimes hurts it, but I think it's got a lot of things to enjoy.
No, because it's fun to think of wacky scenarios.
So Cars is basically a post-robot uprising story where the robots are all descendants of self-drive cars?
Damn, and I JUST looked up the show today because I remember being interested in the premise and cast and then not hearing anything about it airing, so I was starting to wonder if it ever had. And now it's already gone!
I like how you cut out the part of my comment where I talk about reframing the discussion and how words are important.
Feminism's goal is gender equality by way of recognizing women are NOT treat as equal. Saying you're NOT a feminist and instead a humanist or an egalitarian removes the focus on the very real INequality that women specifically face. It's an attempt to derail the conversation by reframing it. Words are important.
But if you recognize that women AREN'T treated equally, then it's feminism. Because you realize that one side needs to be raised for society to be equal.
I think there's a difference between the character being a feminist and the role being feminist. And I really hate people saying "it's not feminist, it's just about human equality." I mean, that's exactly what feminism is, though, right?
I'm wary of your comment because it's an ignorant pile of trash.
If this is true, it would be a weirdly new thing for Disney to do at one of its parks. Hell, a new resort period is a rare occurrence for Walt Disney World— the newest resort, Art of Animation in 2012, was just the other half of Pop Century that they paused the construction of after tourism dropped following 9/11.…
I SUPER don't care for this debate. A movie's a movie, doesn't matter how it's released.
Man, you don't really "get" movies, do you?
Hahaha, man, you're just proving my point.
Do you know the difference between "having" and "endorsing"?
So today I learned that a lot of the people who really like Idiocracy also happen to kinda sorta support eugenics!
Plenty of stupid people have very smart kids because [SHOCK] there's more to it than just your parents! For that matter, plenty of SMART parents have stupid kids!
Can we talk about how Idiocracy's premise is literally based on eugenics, though?
Oh my god, I would kill for an 80s comedy set in the Star Wars universe.
