Well just because he was abducted as a kid doesn’t mean he never went back or learned more about earth. Besides he was abducted in the 80’s and Pollock died and was famous in the 30’s and 40’s. But that aside, I do totally get what your going for by the way, what always made me wonder is how he kept getting batteries…

That was one of the lines I thought was inconsistent with the movie’s timing. Quill was what, 12 or 13 when he was abducted? Why would he know, let alone remember who Jackson Pollock was?
