Between this stuff, the (welcome) death of Silverlight and the PCI requirement of removing pre-TLS 1.1 encryption support to be able to accept credit card transactions; this is destined to be the year we “broke the internet”. You won’t even be able to display an error message explaining why certain clients can’t

Oh I’ve seen pics of occluded intake manifolds and such on diesel forums, just never witnessed it first or second hand through the dozens of diesel engines that I’ve known. It seems to be more of an issue for diesels that are typically driven on short trips and never revved past 3k, or just poorly maintained in

Nothing was wrong with it, my dad was just concerned about the potential transmission issue in the A4 and they traded it in on a Kia, that has ironically had more minor issues than the A6 and the A4 that they had before. I know it’s hip to slam Audi/VW as being unreliable, but that’s not my experience luckily; I

I’m curious what major engine failure you speak of. The VW1.8T engine that was in most A4’s of that era is solid. My mom had an ‘02 A4 Quattro that made it 130,00mi with no major issues. The tiptronic autos were notorious for grenading right past 100,000 but so were V6 Honda autos of the same era.

You may be right on the power comparison, the factory maps on the TDI’s are very conservative; but it will be interesting to see what the longevity of engines like the EcoBoost will be. Early DI gas engines are already having issues with carbon buildup, though there are some (undesirable) solutions for that, that

Sarcasm? Mazda has still yet to bring a single diesel to the US.

Something is seriously wrong with that Golf then, that is not at all the typical experience of a high mileage diesel here in the US either. I have an ‘04 TDI that just passed 250,000mi, currently getting 43MPG @80MPH highway with no major engine work thus far. Oil consumption is a little under a quart between 10,000mi

Yeah I was surprised that 200ish HP is all they got out of a turbocharged 3.1. How much torque?

F’n 20 grand more for 56 less HP and 51 less torques, no thanks.

R aper??

The running boards on the Raptor are pretty much required if you ever are unfortunate enough to park it in a parking lot, its the only thing saving your truck from numerous door dings from assholes everywhere.

I was about to say Mickey Thompson, Dick Cepek, Method and KMC until I just learned that KMC actually makes “XD Series” wheels LOL

Can't speak for the rest of the parts in the picture, but Fox shox are amongst the best shocks you can buy actually; they're what come on the Ford Raptor and lots of high end ATV's, UTV's and Snowmobiles.

AEV is pretty tight with the Jeep division of Mopar as well.

I’m not sure how accurate it is, but there was a commenter above that actually quantified how each credit inquiry can affect the overall interest and cost of a loan. They sounded well informed though. Its a relatively small amount given the life of your average auto loan, but a considerable amount none the less.

My buddy had this vanity plate for a few months (except it was “itchez”) before the BMV shut him down.

The stealer I bought my Raptor from actually managed to get me a lower rate than my local credit union had pre-qualified me for, which was amongst the lowest overall I could find anywhere. Although, a little over a year later the credit union was running a promo and had an even lower rate with no fees that I ended up

Uh, because hard credit inquiries, especially multiple ones, actually lower your credit score for a certain time period. If you can’t read prospective buyers well enough to pick out the people who can’t afford to put gas in their damn car, you have no business even selling cars.
