You know, I'm pretty sure that's the primary usage of automotive forums, to post and research threads about issues. If you go and look at any automotive forum, you're going to see people posting about issues more so than people posting about how few issues they've had with their vehicle.

Use Google Chrome or Firefox with the Adblock+ plugin to selectively block obnoxious adverts, you're welcome.

I would tend to agree that both the Cobalt and the Cavalier that it was based upon are both loathsome cars, all around. But they are cheap transportation, much cheaper than a comparable used Honda or Toyota, you get what you pay for.

Not sure what you paid for it, but you won't have much trouble getting rid of it that's for sure, people want them.

An ex girlfriend had a '94 Z/28. Loved that car and the T-Tops when it was running right. Easily got 28MPG highway with the 6-speed all week long, just don't let that low fuel light come on, you have like 5 miles left at the most. The interior was definitely shit, and this was back in the early '00, I can't imagine

I knew several people that had Berettas in high school with well over 100,000 miles on them, over 200,000 on one of them. Not a huge GM fan of that era, but those 3.1's were pretty bulletproof.

The same engine used in the Colorado/Canyon, basically the I-6 that was in the Trailblazer/Envoy -1 cylinder. No bottom end torque and shitty fuel mileage FTW!

I have a friend who works in construction, drives a Forrester as his daily driver, which we all affectionally refer to as the Lesbowagon.

Yeah, I think the R32 was DSG only, right? Who knows, I can tell you that they are both AWD only.

Word, my girlfriend just bought a used '11 Cruze Eco for 11 grand. It regularly averages 38-42MPG and cost far less than a Prius. The only issue we've had with it so far was a vacuum leak in the valve cover that was covered under the 100k powertrain warranty. My daily driver is an '04 Jetta TDI GLS, it regularly

Pretty sure the Golf R is manual ONLY, but the next one will be available with DCT, possibly no manual cuz my fellow Americans are lametards.

I'm a player hater.

That's pretty much how the governors work on every Briggs & Stratton or Techumseh engine I've ever seen work.

How do generators not make the list? We have a 125Kw Kohler at work to run our office and warehouse; fitted with a natural gas powered GM 8.1L big block, with a big ass Holset turbo sitting on top of it.

1. This is like buying a Hellcat or a Vette and complaining about having to buy Z-rated tires. It's a high performance vehicle, you gotta pay to play!

The entire front of it, including the hood (besides the cab) is the majority of the surface area of the body panels, no?

There is a 6.2 in the '14 Raptor.

Didn't buy it for a daily driver, but I can easily get ~16MPG highway if I keep my foot out of it, at and around 70MPH, 2012 Supercab with the 6.2.

This is bittersweet, love the torque curve of the EB, but there's no replacement for displacement and the EB sounds like a blender out back unfortunately.

Most of the Raptor's body, save for the cab and bed is fiberglass.
