You'll see a Raptor and a Jetta TDI in my driveway. The Raptor is $20/day to commute in when gas is $4/gal and the TDI can't tow a boat or a horse trailer.

Ok, so they're only adding additional complexity to satisfy soccer moms, Consumer Reports and other appliance buyers, that's acceptable I suppose.

Dear god why, WHY take all the complexity of a DCT and take it's main benefit away by turning it into an F'ing slushbox? Worst of both worlds!

Srsly folks, you can find these old LaserJets on Craigslist and eBay and keep them running forever with the cheapest consumable costs.

Then buy a midrange laser printer with a built-in PCL or PostScript interpreter, you won't ever even need to install a driver and it will be undoubtedly supported on all computer platforms in existence throughout its useful life.

You're waiting while the ink jet "cleans" it's print head by spraying "waste ink" into a little purge unit contraption with a lil squeegee, that ink then goes into a waste ink pad that has a finite calculated life, when that pad is full the printer literally refuses to print ever again; unless you tear it apart and

I see your weak-ass 9-pin Oki Microline impact printer and raise you a Tally/Genicom Line Printer!

You may think the toner is expensive, but figure the cost per page vs ink jet carts that dry out, or waste out on incessant print head cleaning, I guarantee you're coming out ahead.

Do that with an ink jet and best case, you're buying all new inks, worst case the print head(s) are clogged and cost more to replace than the entire throw-away POS printer.

Raced a guy in a '94 Z28 once with my '88 CR 250, it went the opposite of this video.

My girlfriend had a '95, loved it up until about 230,000mi when it needed new front rotors and I discovered what the clusterfuck Captive Rotors are.

My TDI Jetta sedan is hands down the easiest FWD car I've ever had to work on.

Anyone looked under the hood of a new Superduty Diesel? There isn't even a space to fit your hand in, anywhere! I heard you have to lift the entire cab off.

I'm pretty sure you can't get a wreckless op on private property, no wonder he didn't turn in any paperwork.

The VW dealers are hit and miss and I really believe that a lot of them create most of the perceived reliability issues that VW's seem to have a reputation for, I avoid them and do all my own work.

First off, I would never recommend that someone who doesn't want to learn how to work on their own vehicle buy a used high mileage VW. I bought my '04 with 130k on it back in '08. I had a tune loaded on it shortly after I bought it and have loved driving it ever since. I commute 80 miles round trip a day and the

Uh you were super lucky if you actually didn't happen to replace the timing belt within 200k miles, the water pump usually gets replaced with that as well. The newer Civics did have chains though, you didn't mention what year.
