Ram has you covered!

The SVT Raptor would like to have a word with you (411HP/434lb-ft tq)

These are gonna sell like hotcakes and the bros will be powersliding them into guardrails and parked cars like nobody's business. In any case, I'm looking forward to it.

The 6.2 may have higher peak torque and HP numbers, but the broader curves of the EB engine give it a slight performance edge. Watch the numerous 6.2 vs EB videos online.

I wouldn't expect that, there's a reason you can't get the EB in Superduties and there's also a reason that the 6.2 is effectively de-tuned in Superduties as well. The 6.2 you get in the Raptor is the exact same engine you can order in other F150's, but the cam, injectors and tuning is different than the Superduty

The Raptor lets you disable ESP, TC and anti-roll when it's in Off-Road mode, so I don't see why they couldn't do that here, just an extra option programmed on the same button.

He's probably right though.

LOL, see I KNEW I saw those 4:10's on the HD somewhere!

I had a 98 TJ Wrangler 4.0L back in the day, that was hands down one of the best overall vehicles I've ever owned, if I didn't need the towing capacity and bed of the pickup I would definitely consider one.

Nah, I'm not mad. I realize it's fun to make sweeping generalizations, I do it all the time, hell, that's exactly what this article is about!

Well I for one generally don't leave the mud on for more than a day, and I try to avoid doing shit crazy enough to cause scratches that you wouldn't be able to buff out, it is a new truck after all. I don't live in a "rich town", but I guess everyone just assumes by default that my truck is doomed to a life of

I'm not partial to any brand, I'm objective about vehicles, not a brand whore at all. They all have their POS designs full of compromise and there are also some particularly great ones as well, for almost any manufacturer I can think of; except for maybe Smart and Yugo which are all compromise.

If you do happen to see a dirty Raptor, it will probably be in front of you on the highway dropping rocks and mud clods all over the road blasting everyone behind it.

Did you guys ever stop to think that the only time you'd see a dirty Raptor is if it's on its way back from a trip after wheeling? Most people that have a new vehicle operate like this: Wash> get dirty> wash again, not: Get dirty> drive all around town tracking mud everywhere> park it with mud falling off all over

Or you could buy a (pretty much Lariat equipped) base Raptor for 43k and use it for what its designed for, it's all covered under warranty as long as you aren't running into shit and jumping it 8ft in the air like your daddy paid for it.

Fuck what everyone else thinks, do what makes you happy. Worrying about what everyone else thinks about your actions is really pointless, if you aren't hurting anyone else, do what you want.

Yeah, nobody ever actually uses them Raptors:

I think you're comparing it to the 4x4's numbers, even with 4x4 it still has a higher power/weight ratio with the 6.2 making 411HP, although it appears I was wrong about the 4:10 gears.

Ok, well the Raptor comes with 4:10's. The last time I looked at any of this was late 2011 when I was shopping for a new truck, so maybe I was wrong, but I thought the HD came with 4:10's for some reason.
