Yeah, I was reading that comment and thinking… Would the best mutant power a straight man or woman (or lesbian, I guess?) want have to do with their genitals or sex—but of course it would for a gay man?

In theory, it's pretty easy to make everything in the same universe as Sandman, isn't it? Of course then you get into sticky issues like it's tied into Constantine/Swamp Thing (which I'm fine with) and then all of the DC Universe and this becomes one big universe…

Baywatch Nights started off as an often slightly sleazy cop show. I don't think it was until season 2 that it went all sci-fi crazy….

I'm no fan of the Hoff but you say "hairy torso" like it's a bad thing…

Or, for good or bad, how Frost is so so rarely mentioned when it comes to Twin Peaks…

It does for Matt if he thinks he can get some sort of "needed" reaction from him. It does for Nora if she's in full on hurt mode.

Agreed—I still completely enjoyed it, but with frustration.

ANd they literally say she's still married to a sex criminal (and no, I don't think that a victim of rape who has never had consensual sex should no longer be able to call themselves a virgin, but it's such an awkward plot point that gets addressed several times yet not remotely addressed because it's impossible to

SHe definitely seemed to be regressing in terms of smarts from last season.

WOw, so did I—and I've been a fan of the actor ever since he was on All My Children like 15 years ago. This is a problem *I* find with binge watching…

No spoilers, but their final scene together really didn't work for me…

The thing, too, is that it always seems like something new is out to binge the next week—so while I'm "slow-binging", all my friends and people online have already move their discussion on to something new.

…yes. Sigh

Damn how did I miss a vigorous hand job in the orgy (which seemed lacking in gay male pairs)

I give Perrotta a lot of credit here. But keep in mind nearly if not all his film credits list several writers and big budget films often have on top of that uncredited writers. There's no way of knowing/-unless I missed an interviee—how much of his scripts remained. Big budget script writing is very different than us

Right. One reason it looks like they want to make Big Little Lies a regular season—a miniseries I enjoyed but don't see working as a long run. But they need another drama hit

Who also wrote sci fi. Did we see the title?

I thought Tom just got good enough to let people think his hugs could cure people even without Laurie's help.

Yes, as I've mentioned myself a number of times. But, as is mentioned below, this is common when one name is more recognizable to fans (forget that Perrotta is a well respected, and best selling, literary novelist…). Look at Ryan Murphy's shows (and I a mostly far from a fan)—the majority of them are co-created and

SHe still seems to not fully come out and say it in the interview, instead saying why the character was ok with suicide. (OK, I guess it's pretty clear, but…)
