There is a theory that as things like life expectancy continue to improve (or was continuing to improve) people age slower—including mentally. I think there's some truth to it in a way—before the post war period there weren't really teenagers, for a variety of reasons, for example. Even as late as 1970 you were seen

Not that it matters, since Max Richter's score works perfectly, but I wonder how much is new for the show? I only have his first cd from fifteen years back, Memoryhouse, but the track November has definitely been used and I remember about six years back at a dance concert that the modern dance company used the track

Lindelof said before the season one premier not to expect an explanation plus it was based on a novel with no explanation for the departure. So, umm l, I would say you are right. But that's confirmed.

You are only now calling out the show fir being preposterous??

To be fair, he was only one of several writers on lol of those movies and blockbusters often go through quite a few writing hands. And on Lost he had to run utcwith Cuse. Perrotta seems to be a much better consultant…

Saskatchewan is as shameless as ever. Seriously I guess it's for a good cause and I assume the concept can't be copyrighted, but…

I first noticed him on two, I think, seasons of Six Feet Under. You saw his butt a lot there too.

Serious? Have you watched anything else in HBO lately? (A slight exaggeration, but). I obviously don't agree, though I will say I thought the abs-focused poster campaign for this season is kinda over the top. Maybe it's meant to be.

Umm… huh?

I dunno. Babies aren't a big plot point in most genre shows so there's a big example.

Any female protagonists in any tv shows at all? Umm I can think ofplenty. Or do you mean in certain specific shows?

I just know BBCAmerica has edited for content before. But it sounds like they at least kept "shit" in the premier ?

I admit that I kinda feel bad that Vox had someone else review the Girls finale. But maybe Todd needs some time and will resurface with an op ed piece about the history of his family and breast feeding or something.

I just wanted to say that I love when the PS is longer than the actual post. It brings me back to my junior high pen pal days.

Hey Robin Wright left, too. (And thanks for reminding me how disappointed I was with most of the Home at the End adaptation. Great book, though)

Ok that's fair enough. I admit, though I knew it got bad numbers in the uk (partly due to how it aired) I've been a little surprised at how divisive it's proving to be. Like love/hate firctge most part.

I think he is meant to be gay—hence why the thought of asking a girl never occurred to hin

We got it the day after its online airings here in Canada where apparently it did well—well by the standards of the basic cable station Space anyway. It makes sense to air it after Who but as others have said m, it seems like most Who fans interested in it would track down copies by now (especially as these will be

They planned to air it with the new season of Who on BBCAmerica way back when it premiered—which may have been a mistake in this agr of torrents etc

The audience does confuse me—and I was a big fan. I would assume with the (very slight) nudity and language—which I assume BBCAmerica has edited —it's for older teens? It felt a bit like BBC wanted something edgier like Channel 4's teen series like Skins and Glue, though this isn't anywhere near as edgy.
