Adorable Yet Frightened Sloth

I have had the luxury of watching nearly the whole series on Hulu/Amazon last year, so I rarely ever watched it in a non-HD format, and I think what's made it even more noticeable this season is an increased budget in lighting and cameras on the main stage. Some of the past seasons have looked positively DARK and it

I physically winced looking at Aja's makeup/wig on the runway tonight. There was nothing safe about it, it was just a tragedy that should have placed her in the bottom.

At the very least, Lena Headey provided the most accurate summation of Adore that season: "she's like a daughter I want to slap."

The farthest any queen has gone who won the first lip sync was Jiggly who placed eighth, and (no pun intended) she was pretty much the dead weight of the queens that had any semblance of a personality that season. Kimora will sashay very soon, but it's still not fair she "won" this lip sync.

I'd like to know how Charlie and Peppermint, both of whom are fabulous and I enjoy them both, have stepped their pussies up any more than Shea or Sasha, who've both been in the top already. Based mostly on results, Shea, Sasha, Nina, and Valentina have stepped their pussies up the most out of all 14.

No, you're completely right. This just reeked of "we wanted Jaymes to be the first to go, so we're still doing that even if she did far better than Kimora."

I'd had Jaymes pegged as the first queen to go since the beginning, but damn I still felt bad for her tonight. She should have won that lip sync (to be fair, Love Shack is far more up her alley than Kimora's), and she's so far removed from everyone else in the competition that I ended up really wanting her to stay on

There were just a lot of questionable choices this entire episode. The show clearly wanted an easy out for the first queen eliminated, so they picked Jaymes, even though she did significantly better than Kimora.

There was a lot of talk when the Ruveal came out that a lot of queens were just different versions of past queens, most of which I disagreed with, but damn if Kimora wasn't just Gia Gunn 2.0 tonight. "What are bloomers?" "Who does cartwheels anymore? It's not the 80's." were the two that stood out to me tonight. Yikes,

I haven't heard anything of this, but I'd absolutely be in support of it. Maybe two batches of 12 episodes a year? (Matter of fact, go ahead and do that with Bojack Horseman as well, Netflix).

It's interesting the parallel storylines they're drawing with Robert/Sol, who are retiring and slowing down, and Grace/Frankie, who are starting a business and moving upwards. They're doing both so well (the ending scene with Sol was particularly striking), but it is interesting how the two are developing right next

So far, I've managed to 1) watch one episode a day along with the reviews and 2) avoid spoilers wholesale. So now I'm anxiously awaiting 12.

I think it would have been a really fun stand alone episode if they had spent the whole episode on the floor, dealing with all their issues. A bottle episode like that provides plenty of opportunities to run with a simple premise and I think it would have been especially potent with Grace talking about feeling older

Who's the asshole that keeps giving each episode and F? Who really gets that much enjoyment from being so bitter about a show? Their loss-this episode was a highlight of the show for me.

"Praise the lord for bringing Grace and Frankie into our lives."
I love when shows inadvertently throw a meta comment about the show in the script, because I have said very similar things when this show comes back.

That park bench scene was so delightful. There's a great many things I'd love to experience with Frankie and/or Lily Tomlin, and watching people fall into puddles and getting high and watching Muppets Take Manhattan are definitely two of them. Brianna and Frankie remain my two favorite parts of this show, so I like

I'm really trying to watch the episodes each daythe reviews come up and it's incredibly hard. Right now I'm tempering that with finally blowing through Veep, but once that's done it'll be hard to stop myself.

Poor Dax. Eliminated after two episodes the season after your drag daughter won.

So lovely that this show is back. It's just a nice, funny comedy show and after binging three seasons of Bojack Horseman that's exactly what I need right now. Everything Brianna, Frankie's reaction to Kenny Loggins, the drinking game, the blurred family lines… so many nice moments in this episode.

Not to mention, she also came in with the whole "the body is here" thing, which is dangerously close to when Naysha came in saying "the beauty has arrived" and had that horrible, unflattering black dress. Yikes. At least three other queens had much more impressive figures, with and without padding, Trinity. You ain't
