@LTMP: I'd contend that Apple's move was less about entering the phone market than it was about creating the app market. IMO, the apps made the hardware a hit, not the other way around.

@Dodge2002: Depending on where you live, $30 is already cheap. I think in the next 10 years theaters will return to their roots as upscale, formal attire, experience driven affairs. It will be the only way to justify the rates.

@LandonAB: You'd really pay $5 to $10 per month? I'd actually consider it at $10 per year. Then, having considered it, switch to a free option. Xmarks is good, but I really don't see it doing anything significant to stand out from anyone else providing a similar service.
