I played around with this last night. I find it far more usable than Google Docs. The only thing they forgot, and this blows my mind, is the ability to move documents between your skyDrive folders. I tried long and hard to figure out how to do this, so if I missed it, somebody set me straight!

Personally, I'm dumping Gmail the hot second the June hotmail update is pushed out. it'll be @live.com from there on out.

OMG! He's got a Mac!!

Whoa! That guy has a Mac!

@Christian Hernandez: I'm looking forward to Live Wave 4 (June 15ish). A lot of those editing and creation features for Live Photo Gallery are supposed to be beefed up. For now, we use Picasa.

So which part was the actual tip? Try both and see which you like? Everything else was just definining the differences between the two styles.

@SkaHimself: Then just drag the bodies out of the frame and clean up the blood in PS when you get home!

@kaushalmodi: Actually I believe the ribbon is a UI element that MS encourages. Pretty sure there are .Net libraries for creating ribbon interfaces for your own programs.

My go to method is tough it out. I don't buy into the notion that plant goop is going to shave time off the healing process. My skin is designed to heal itself from sunburn. Let it do it's thing.

@JRock: shouldn't he be holding a Rubik's cube, legos, or a slinky then? Perhaps riding a pogo stick...

So...Chrome was built by neanderthals? Or is that just representative of the talent they devoted to the Mac/Linux version?

@Phoshi: I was thinking in terms of how TDD can allow design to evolve out of implementation, but I see where you're coming from. With TDD I think it's assumed that you've done your requirements gathering before you start up an IDE. Where I work another team is responsible for gathering and documenting requirements,

Is 10 really that young to do a simple fix like this? You can find a dozen videos on YouTube and written tutorials around the web. I dunno. Good on the kid for not being afraid to tear the thing apart, but I'm not sure there's a heck of a lot of skill involved here.

@BishopBlaize: That only works if you get the order right.

@Phoshi: Familiarize yourself with test driven development and you may change your tune.

@FrankenPC: You're talking about the trim command— and yes. W7 can manage the rewrites automatically.

"They are out there floating by on the ether."

@FrankenPC: You should buy an SSD. You'll get over your distaste for reboots. Intel's 80GB X25-M is going for $210 right now on Newegg. Configured correctly, it's plenty of space, reboots take about as long as a good yawn, and launching apps feels like they were just minimized :D

@ericesque: just kidding— but you set yourself up for that one ;)
