@TheFu: I love Pine. Just discovered it's available on Windows through Cygwin. It's incredible how fast you can shoot an email out using Pine.

@michael1200: Those aren't desks. Those are cathode fixtures.

@sharktamer: indeed. It's not all that uncommon for businesses to block personal email sites.

API? API? Bueller? API?

@qwickone: I've tried that. It works, but on cal they only give you about 17 characters before tasks wrap to a new line. It's limiting enough that I just resort to Outlook Tasks— which does a good enough job.

I care not for any news about Tasks until Google moves it off the mail domain. If I can't access Tasks on my work desktop (due to web filters) it's no good to me. *sigh*

Why can't I just kill em with good old fashioned chemicals? Something toxic and noxious...

@Kasse: ^ That boy ain't right.

@Ghettopia: Seconded. Comcast sucks hard.

@amlamarra: check your settings for redundant backup selections. The default settings back up all libraries. If you manually selected a folder to back up on the file system that happens to be in one of your libraries it might be hitting that folder twice.

@AmphetamineCrown: lol. okay. you play the odds. I'll stick with the conservative approach. $100 now to ensure I'm covered for hundreds of thousands later.

@AmphetamineCrown: The risk is if there is a house fire for any reason your home insurance is likely out the window!

@gauden44: That IS something! I liked Vista and could have gone on using it for several years... had I not touched Windows 7 :P To each his own.

@Improbus: Don't be sorry. Use what works for you!

@korrupt9187: bummer, dude. Hey, there's always celibacy if you can't stomach the thought of waking up to OS X or linux every morning for the rest of your life...

@orlo: haha! Eye of the beholder, right?

Anyone else LOVE Windows 7??
