I like DisplayFusion Pro. It isn't freeware, but handles multi-desktop taskbar and wallpaper nicely. It also has hotkey functionality for window snapping, resizing, and positioning. It updates frequently and nails the W7 taksbar look.

@Ahnduru: you shot peewee herman?

@Rodney Gordon: I'm sorry, did that come across as being mean?

@mattarse: Last time I checked, there was still no Tasks API, so there's really no good way to get at your Google Tasks. That doesn't mean it's impossible, but it's almost guaranteed to be a hassle.

@ok_go: haha! If I could promote comments...

@beeeph: agreed! Running off the page, when done right, is considered GOOD design. Keeping everything on the page is often seen as amateurish— unless you have good reason to do so.

@Time42: It isn't intended to.

@Sotirios: I have to disagree. I think this underscores how versatile the interface is! The modular design allows the UI to be adapted to best utilize the screen's dimensions without losing form or function.

@orijimi: It's true, there are gaps in the selection. Zune is turning 4 this year and Microsoft is still striking deals with recording companies to get more content.

We've got these at work. They're actually handy for any drawer that's deep enough to create two 'shelves' of storage. Great for de-cluttering your desk.

@orijimi: I think you might be surprised. Unless you only like some extremely rare artists Zune Pass offers a lot more than on-demand radio.

@orijimi: ok. Thanks for that.

@ichiban1081: I'm looking forward to WP7S. Marketplace integration with ZuneHD (and assumably WP7S) is SO much slicker than the 120. I held off on the HD because of the WinMo 7 + zune rumors that surfaced around the time the HD came out. I'm pretty sure I'll be happy I waited in about 6 months!

@rootyb: I never found anything zen about maintaining metadata. Especially since iTunes seemed to have a way to screw it up.

@Buster Friendly: I replaced my video iPod with a 120GB Zune around Christmas 2 years ago. The 120GB was on a great sale on Newegg which I combined with a PayPal promo for cash back. For $190 I got the Zune and the home AV kit (~$50 value). Then I sold my iPod on ebay for about $100. So my upgrade set me back $90

I use Zune and Zune Pass. I have access to over 6 million+ tracks in the marketplace. I can download any of them —as many as I want— and every one is automatically added to my library. Then it automatically syncs to my Zune via wifi. OR I can simply stream the track right from the marketplace on my Zune again,

@brodie7838: Funny, I was just thinking the same thing about that box filled with sticks of PC100/133. 32MB, 64MB —some friend, someday, will need the performance boost.
