@Buster Friendly: Buster has the right idea!
@TehBeardMan: Looked it up not long ago. It's t base 100.
GOOGLE MUST DIE!
@moe52: I think a similar method was offered on The Screensavers way back when. They cautioned that liquid nitrogen can "super cool" the ice cream and if you eat it right away you could freeze your esophagus. Seems a bit bunk now that I say it myself, but might be worth taking note of.
In related news, Lifehackers hate facebook.
@TheClap: +1 that's the only reason I clicked :(
@Phoshi: agreed. It looks fatastic!! until you have even one other window behind it...
I had to do this with a SATA enclosure to get W7 installed on a friend's laptop that had a bad ROM and no USB boot option. Never thought to share the idea on Lifehacker :\
-30 points for use of the god-awful term 'automagically'. An additional -10 points for using it in a headline.
@Benguin: The funny part is when you said fashionablility and geekiness in the same sentence! The REALLY funny part is that you think they can coexist somehow ;)
@acidrain69: I don't have figures to back this up, so take it with a grain of salt, but my understanding is that OSX is not actually very profitable for Apple. This would imply that Apple's stock is up because of their other successful products. Why do they need more than 5-7%? I didn't say they did. I simply…
I think Apple is doing themselves a disservice by not allowing virtualization.
@mike_311: I encountered the same thing. I wonder if stores are keeping less merchandise across the board due to the economy— which would free up storage space for seasonal items. If they have room for it, they may be less inclined to take a hit on the typical 70-80% off sales they usually run this time of year.
@Phoshi: I tend to agree. One of the designs has the application button as the left-most tab with an orange background. This reminds me of Office 2010. Something like that seems much more appropriate.
@mjgolli: It's okay. I've got 8GB of RAM and only 640MB of video memory, so I'm not that concerned for myself. In fact, with memory prices I don't ever foresee building a machine for anyone that would be so unevenly balanced as to have 4GB of RAM and 2GB of video memory. If somebody is throwing down for that much…
While we're making up exciting Firefox headlines that really say nothing about the data: Firefox 3.5 is the most popular version of any browser!
@fleebailey33: But is it true? I've never heard this anywhere else... the original article seems convincing, but so can car salesmen...
@ploopsy: Sounds pretty accurate. I don't know why they haven't featured an Apple store yet.
@Jnahajski: or at least use one of those wheel chair lifts to get us over the hurdle, right?
