What I am paying attention to is the Governorships lost, House Seats lost, State legislature seats lost, all since 2008.

I think we agree. What I’m saying is that when they run as watered down republicans (H. Clinton, for example), voters don’t buy in. But if they run as energized candidates with progressive agendas (Candidate Obama, Sanders, O’Rourke) they get out the vote and win.

Last I checked they aren’t governing anything by being “Republican Lite”
