It’s a sharp-looking car that, despite everything going against it, I would very much like to own.
I love the fall season, but whenever I listen to this song, all I think about is summer.
Agreed. The job looks “okay” enough too, so whoever made it could’ve gone the extra mile, but decided not too.
Of all the truck beds that guy could’ve used to mesh into an RX-8, he chose that?
I’d have trouble swapping the transmission because this car is too damn clean to even think about modifying, I just don’t have the heart. Even with the mileage and the awful DVD system (which should be returned to stock) this is a car you preserve and take leisurely Sunday drives on the back roads with.
The far distant furture of 2032. Nah, I got a PS4 as well and from what I’ve read so far, GT7 is shaping up to be good. Kaz has stated that the game will be released in 2016 and Polyphony even hired a sound engineer from Turn 10 to help address the “vaccum problem”. Call me crazy, but I’m hopeful.
Agreed. It has a nice profile and with the update, and good looking face. Plus it's one of the most capable CUVs you can buy.. not that you'll be doing much off-roading with it.
Look dude, I’m well aware that my car was mostly bought by middle-aged men who thought buying German was “scary”. But to call it slow? Nah. Moderately-quick? Yeah.
Your case is just as bad, as the cars you listed don’t even fall into the same category. Someone who was looking at a G35 wouldn’t consider a GTO or Mustang, and probably wanted something more refined than an Evo. These cars were bought because they were a alternative to the 3-series, A4, and IS. I’m really struggling…
I wouldn’t, and what are you comparing this too? A similar 328i hits around the same mark.
Good luck finding a manual sedan, I searched but ended up settling on a pristine ‘03 auto with the sport package (spoiler/stiffened suspension, not that makes much of a difference). While I wanted to row my own, the old couple I bought it from were meticulous in keeping it tidy (they even had the original sticker in…
I disagree completely. As a current owner, I think it’s got more than enough ooomf to have fun with. A G25? Yeah, I’d be more inclined to agree with you.
That was the first thing I thought of too, just head over to the local PD and grab a fully stocked Panther. Gun mount? Check. Storage room? Check. Endless supply of parts? Double check. Not only that, but it runs on 89, is relatively fast, and can take a serious beating. Plus, if you find survivors, you can hold them…
Yes. It was a salvage title the owner attempted to customize and then tried to sell for $30k on eBay.
There’s nothing wrong with slamming a car, especially when there are thousands of them you can pick up for cheap. Jalopnik needs to calm the fuck down.
There’s one in my area that I see driving around in that same color. Unfortunately, it’s been beat to shit, the lower front lip is snapped off, the decals are peeling/ripped, and it has an awful set of Discount Tire wheels. I wish someone would take it away from the owner because they clearly don’t deserve it.
I highly recommend listening to How Did This Get Made?’s episode on A View To A Kill. It’s a “live show” episode, but worth checking out.
