Best Bernie band is easily, easily Run the Jewels
Best Bernie band is easily, easily Run the Jewels
Not that I’ve seen the last movie, but shouldn’t that be JJ’s fault? In TLJ, Rey’s response to Kylo’s “Joim me in ruling the universe together” plea is a hard pass.
One fucking movie comes out that you don’t like, and from that you built this whole loopy idea that outlines the guy’s intent, his ability in his profession, and ultimately the point you want to make is about the most hyperbolic one you could make.
It interests me that as a life long Star Wars fan... that scene you snipped was my favorite.
Yeah! She should stop being outraged and just accept the sexism and racism of the old days when they couldn’t speak out! Remember when we didn’t have outrage from minorities and discriminated classes? Ah, those were the days. Now they want “equal rights”. Those complainers.
Delayed Response Guy here. The guy behind Pop Arena & “Nick knacks” has already released videos for 2 of 10 shows that made their Nick debuts in 1985, which Turkey Television certainly did. After checking those 2 episodes and some title card previews he’s teased on Twitter to Nickandmore’s “every show on Nickelodeon” list
I feel so conflicted about Tarantino these days. I used to love his movies and thoroughly enjoy making fun of him as well, but since everything with Weinstein, Polanski, and Uma Thurman revealing how he essentially tortured her I just feel nauseous. Clearly he’s a filmmaker that incites a lot of passion in people and…
I burned out on superhero movies around Spider-Man 2, though I’m still in for good sci-fi (ie Arrival). Definitely excited to see a big Hollywood release that is different from those instead of having to seek them out at the indie theatre.
Generally agreed, I assume, by guys who never actually faced Lee in a fight?
Well since the default fucking state of “movies” is superhero bullshit, I think it’s perfectly okay to get snarky about them.
I burned out on superhero movies about 5 years ago, so I guess it lasted for me. I recommend it.
Yikes! As intense as that final show-down was, I didn’t find it nearly as intense and upsetting as Hopper beating up the mayor. I find it EXTREMELY off-putting when characters we are supposed to root for as good guys resort immediately to violence and torture to get their way. Beating someone up and threatening…
I’ve seen some effort by the candidates themselves, but the dnc is trying to prop up the ones without any substance
I’ve never seen the actual documentary, but I knew Rick Kenmore was a straight up riff on Pete Weber , with the ridiculous catchphrases (WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? I AM! was an actual catchphrase of Pete), his “bad boy” attitude, complete with wearing sunglasses while bowling, coupled with the fact his dad was a…
From the frothing mad First Order to the “we’re all happy to be reunited... even though we just lost thousands of our friends a few hours ago!” ending.
I hate to be the one to break the news, but if you don’t like plot holds and logical inconsistencies, you better watch out for this guy named George Lucas.
Not that I want to run the risk of re-litigating Last Jedi, but it’s also okay to not like a movie without going after the actors involved or even attacking RJ on twitter. “I don’t like this movie. I think it messed up the mythology. I don’t think I’ll go see the next one.” Is a perfectly acceptable response to ANY…
Maybe they can still post comments or a review but if they don't have a ticket stub it won't count towards the audience score.
There’s different flavors of Last Jedi haters. There’s the woman haters, the diversity haters, the woman/diversity haters, and the, um, plot-hole-perceivers. Which... I’ve said this before, as have countless other posts and blogs and YouTube videos but it’s no more “consistent” or “inconsistent” than anything that…
I only want my stories about space wizards to make logical sense.
