I haven’t been this excited for a Sega release in SOOOO long. Welcome back, Sega.

That’s not because they are made specifically for guys.

They weren’t specifically made for males either, which shows that women like the same types of games men do. You don’t have to be gender specific in a games design for either one to really like it. That’s the point you don’t seem to understand.

The same can just as easily be said of the male demographic, moot point.

That’s the whole point.

I think she knows that now, dumbass.

They weren’t specifically designed for men either, moot point.

And how many games are specifically designed for males?

The point is that male and female interests in games are not inherently different besides what gender the other prefers to see sexualized. So It’s ridiculous to say what female gamers want should be ignored just because there’s an insignificantly larger amount of male consumers.

Plenty of famous anime don’t have particularly big eyes for most of the characters, and big eyes were something Japan was already familiar with before western animation. A lot of figures in their folklore were designed with big eyes, like some of the gods and demons.

Dude, that series is drawn drastically different than anime, you can’t be serious with that minority of a cherry pick.

Simplified seems inaccurate; the art is usually too detailed for that to be justified, more like idealized, but pretty much otherwise I agree.

I’ll give you that Tezuka influenced the storytelling and animation techniques of anime and manga as well as the imitators of his art style, but anime has looked very different from Disney and Tezuka styles since it’s debut.
Look at Osamu Tezukas typical Disney like style then contrast with smaller eyed and more

It’s weird that a Japanese person would make a diagram showing what they think is enough similarities and contrasts to real people who don’t even resemble most of their ethnicity proportionally, as evidence for anime generally looking like white people. No ones eyes in real life are shaped like anime characters’

Most white people aren’t blonde or blue eyed either, we’re just the only ethnicity that can even have different eye and hair colors. And most people’s eyes aren’t even shaped like in anime, so no one really looks like an anime characters.

Iv’e always wondered why most shoujo is romance, don’t girls like action as much as boys, or is this another enforced stereotype by Japanese culture that girls are too sensitive and delicate to like action compared to boys? And even in the few that are fighting anime, they still draw girls very thin and in pictures

That must not correlate at all with the fact that the west thought it was a good idea to market only Sonic for Sega, so people could know only about those Sonic games while the good Sega IPs got ignored for no specific reason. I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole reason for that was because they put their fan bias
