I'm not wholly in resonance with the hivemind on this definition. First, in rigorous treatments, a triangle is commonly called a triangle, even if "2-simplex" is not wrong. Second. in non-Euclidean geometry, a triangle still lies on a plane — but the definition of a plane is different.

Ordinary users are flagging the articles, not making the final say as to what is or isn't fake. It seems like it can't hurt. The old way of commenting to say the post is false helped the fake news to propagate because responding is like "liking" in terms of making posts get featured more often.
