Yep, I knew this. It was a way for people to announce superiority :D My Dad bought a 1998 Ford Taurus from his employer. It started life as a Hertz rental, then a company car, and ended up in the hands of my three sisters.

I’m with you, David. I was born 25 years ago and brought home in a light blue 1990 Plymouth Grand Voyager. I was child #4 of 5; the 1990 Grand Voyager started a saga for us.My parents traded it for a 1996 Grand Voyager. They also had a 1998 (?) Dodge Caravan at the same time, in the mid 2000s. Then they got a 2002

Am I the only one who is severly creeped-out by the idea of a “youth hotel”? Especially one run by a 70-year old man with a supposed history of groping women and declaring his own teenage daughter and her friends attractive.

Of course that plush trimming and tube TV would all be rolling around like gravel in a rock polisher in the event of a rollover.

The van is wearing California plates. My guess is this was in California.

Also- all that glass and the A/C was removed for filming. Just think about hopping in this thing on a hot day.

In all fairness that’s kind of what they do now.

Glad I’m not the only one. Definitely saw a Warthog.

When he got out he looked barefoot. Which is actually against the law. My guess is he made sure to get the flippy floppies on before the cops came.

Does that plate say VUDOOO? Or is it VUD000 (the second being numbers).

Yep, you’ve got it pretty well spot on. I’ve been selling since June 2013. The difference I’ve found that keeps me going is I really do love the cars and I LOVE closing a sale. It’s a little accomplishment. I also like the people, for the most part.

Man I would love to go through all of these.

Great read. Sounds like a really cool experience!

Did anybody happen to notice all of the Ram trucks? As in, every truck is a Ram truck. FCA is behind this. Terrible trucks + Marchionne’s desperate plea for any press = a truly terrible steaming pile of crap.

Great read. I’m a Michigan boy (grew up in Plymouth) and I will always call Michigan “home”. Marquette is a beautiful city and I can’t tell you how much I envy your having a fast car on those wide-open roads. Very cool post. The juxtaposition of an ATS-V in the back woods makes for an excellent photo.

Nice to see the King Ranch and 12th gen Platinum out on the trails!

I guess I’m just curious who the target is- they’ve got the Renegade, the Cherokee, the Grand Cherokee and the Wrangler. The Compass/Patriot have not been competitive for years and I’m not sure they needed a replacement..

I think they call that one the Dominic Toretto.

I have ALWAYS wanted to do this to a car. I’ve been selling cars since June 2013 and I have been SO tempted to take quite a few trades out to a field and destroy them. I had a little fun with some cars in my time.. Good stuff.
