I’m a car salesman and I get to look at and drive dozens of cars a day. Occasionally I’ll go through phone and nav systems and delete any saved data. It amazes me how nobody thinks to do this when trading in their car.

I drove the first one my dealer got as soon as it came in and I’ve got to agree with you. It’s a very nice car, and the power is greatly appreciated, but I guess I was expecting something more. Like a Taurus SHO with 750 lbs less to cart around.
I got the VIN off the license plate-
If Chevy really wanted to convince skeptical automotive journalists, they should have a side-by-side back-to-back comparison of a 2016 and a 2017. Make them as identically-configured as possible. See if anyone can actually tell them apart.
2015+ Ford F-150. Just freakin’ love it.
Because of course this would happen in Dubai, where most people view this car as a 60 year old hunk of American garbage. It’s a whole different world over there.
Only GM would do that.
This is what I thought also.
Am I the only one wondering why they were filming BEFORE the chains broke? What prompted them to grab a camera?
Yep, I saw one at Kohl’s about a month ago. I bet the owner is a 17 year old kid who tells EVERYONE- “I drive a Caddy.”
Excellent write-up, Tavarish. I've never ridden in an i8 but this made me feel like I have. Thank you.

“Real talk– part of me hates to dump on the TRD Pro because it’s a cool-looking truck with a legitimate enthusiast-oriented loadout from the factory. Basically, exactly what off-road fans are always clamoring for in our comments. But if we’re being honest with ourselves, the TRD Pro’s real value proposition is hard to…
That won’t be a realistic option, unless you’re looking to shell out big dough. If I recall correctly from when I worked at a Toyota dealer, the supercharger they offered for the Tacoma was in excess of $5,000 for parts alone. It was stupid.
Is this supposed to reference that one game show?
I’ll be following you to Oversteer! Doug is what brought me to Jalopnik. I forget what article it was, but I know it was Doug. I’ve loved reading all of the posts and columns. Congrats on the new opportunity, I’ll be seeing you!
I’m sure they are concerned about fuel economy, but the problem is the ridiculous swing in what these are actually used for. You can’t rate the vehicle one way because they come equipped SO MANY WAYS.
This one’s intense.
