I totally agree with you, but will repeat what a Jezzie said months ago about Andrea Tantaros. It really pisses me off that these women smirked and questioned other women who came forward regarding sexual assault, sexual harassment or domestic violence. However, thanks to feminists who have worked tirelessly for

This man is a hero, and a very prescient one. In Jia’s interview, he said he knew it wasn’t going to get any better for reproductive freedom in this country. At the time, I thought he was a bit of a cynic. I know all too well what he means now.

I still haven’t had the heart to watch her concession in full. I know that’s unfair to her, and I’m not in denial, but I just can’t. It’s SO painful to realize what we’ve lost.

It’s infuriating.

“Instead we got a guy who can’t find his asshole with two hands and a flashlight.”

That’s exactly my point. At this point they probably think they could come up with a “due process” kangaroo court, label them criminals, then do what they want with them using the 13th amendment loophole.

We outlawed chattel slavery, but the government never really apologized nor paid survivors or descendants.

And props to Jezebel on having stainless steel insides and facing down this shitstorm while the rest of us were puking from sheer horror. Or I was.

She’s a woman who speaks, has opinions, and even dares to tease her husband and suggest she is not utterly submissive to his authority.

She’s also too well-educated and has a sense of humor.

She tried to get kids to eat more vegetables and be more active. That’s not classy. The classy pay lip service and get a little lipo.

Oh my God yes. Thank you for saying it.

Absolutely. At what point do we stop pandering to the willfully ignorant? At what point to we refuse bigotry and regressive views a place at the table alongside rational and critical thought, scientific discovery, and basic human empathy? Why are we expected to expend so much energy making sure people who silence get

Not only do they feel entitled but they feel that when they are unemployed it’s just circumstance. When people of color are unemployed it’s because they’re lazy and living off the system! Never mind they’re collecting unemployment too, that’s different.

What I find interesting is just how entitled they feel to those jobs. They feel that they are their right and just due. In a democracy they then are able to go ahead and activate the levers of the state on their behalf against the very capitalism that they themselves have been whining about being synonymous with

Exactly this. My cousin (a white male) went to PSU for engineering. Now, he was Hot Shit (tm) in his high school of 20 people, but at PSU he struggled. His mother (my aunt) kept blaming “affirmative action” for the fact that her son lost a scholarship and couldn’t get another.

Thanks, but do note the others who insist that I, and other black women, get back to work without acknowledging their roles - and by others I mean white Americans. If any other minority group had voted with those numbers, it would be front page news. You even had the “low Af-Am turnout” headlines without little to

That white people are voted for racist Trump to the same degree as they did bland Romney is not a point in their favor. Are white people mindless robots that are just programmed to vote Republican without considering that MAYBE they shouldn’t vote for the sexist racist deplorable scumbag, leaving it up to minorities

White people do not get a pass. 50% of this country did not vote. You don’t get to blame the small percentage of people of color for this - they voted, overwhelmingly, for Hillary. Black women specificaly voted for Hillary in the 90th percentile.
