a highlight on “modern family” - you knew exactly why phil was the way he was.

As a latchkey kid from a broken home whose only source of emotional warmth was television, I truly appreciate his work on Real People. It felt good.

It helps that his style (at least in the things that I’m familiar with) was clueless overconfidence, which never goes out of style. The “Fred Willard” type - the guy who seems like he’s constantly failing into positions of authority or at least visibility - is a comedy fixture.

The video still image makes him look like Guy Fieri’s sexier father who makes guy feel uncomfortable by having long unsettlingly intimate conversations with his girlfriend when he brings her by to meet the folks over the weekend.

You could easily imagine him having been a “straight” leading man. He had the look, and that actually helped his characters a lot.

Just a brilliant man. He should have won an Oscar for his work in Best in Show.

I hope the organist at his funeral doesn’t play inappropriate novelty circus music complete with smashing plates and glasses.

Damn it, two comedy legends in the same week. That fucking sucks.

Hey! Wha hoppen? 😢

Unless your show gets sponsored by Blue Apron.

Agreed. She’s funny on podcasts. Was a competent and good actor on Crashing and In the Between Two Ferns movie. But I saw this preview and just concluded the money was MUCH too good to pass up.

Lauren Lapkus deserves better than this! (at least I think she does... maybe I dont really know Lauren at all... maybe she has been hiding her inner Missy this whole time)

Does turning your ass steel to shatter a paddle not count as superheroics?

So to recap, Sara Lance:
* Has died (twice) and come back each time
* Has been trained by the League of Assassins
* Adopted the mantle of Captain to the Legends
* Is one of the universe’s Paragons
* Survived seeing a god in their true form
* Has precognitive powers for now
* Is awesome at blind beer pong

Definitively the

I like to think that the LoT writers have read some AV Club comments and reviews, took note of Nate being characterized as a dude bro, and leaned into that for this episode. And his dab was among the least annoying I’ve seen.

I totally just focused on Caity’s arms and shoulders in that scene. Damn indeed.

So I know it’s not a main point of this episode, but.... what happened to Gary after they decided to pledge the sorority? They didn’t even pull him back at the end although Constantine was after being absent most the episode. Is he just still on the ship?

Yeah, but Barry changed the timeline when he made Flashpoint. And then Barry changed the timeline when he unmade Flashpoint. And the Legends changed the timeline when they broke time. And then when they rewrote the universe with the Spear of Destiny. And then when they decided, screw it, let’s mess up the timeline

Hudson University is also Law & Order’s stand in for NYU, so there is a lot of crimes going on there.

Sara Lance cheats at beer pong against Dionysus because WHIMSY!
