Thats what I always thought, but I read up recently and my new understanding is that cards paired (at least in SLI) do not actually increase the ram, instead the same amount is used by each card. I will not claim to be an expert, but I read the answer from several different sites. In fact if true, I will be upgrading

Liquid cooling is now overrated. If you are a serious overclocker, sure. If you're a serious overclocker though you're not going to be going with a factory sealed unit. They don't cool all that well in testing, and they tend to fail, and eventually they do lose coolant over time.

Awesome alternative build! Like we mentioned above, a lot of this is just a matter of taste, and you can swap out specifics based on your needs (the only things we're actually sticking to at all here are the graphics and the monitor picks, the rest is give or take!)

Hey Lifehacker, How about a new "How to build a home server" post. So many people these days are building home servers I think a post like that would come in handy.

To a woman who clearly doesn't get it: its not about the dick. Its the balls. I literally cannot sit knees together without suppressing a cry unless I could reach down and lift my balls so that they rest on my thighs. And it's rather impolite to stuff your hands in your pants before sitting down, it'd take some

That's pretty cool and smart to realize. Here in TX people just think the snow means the lane is closed and it's totally cool to turn right from the left lane without looking since the left lane is the only one fully cleared

Its awesome. Almost as awesome as the biathlon. I have no idea why I love the biathlon though.

this is cool as shit! this is now my favorite winter Olympic sport.

It may be the perspective. It maybe the 1.6 liter engine behind it. It may be the serious envy my Evo is experiencing right now. But that looks like a pretty fucking big turbo.

"It's a series of tubes."

I JUST WANT TO SEE GOOD RACING!!!

Incredible. Using a generator to control the turbo's speed instead of just a wastegate sounds incredible. Can't wait for that idea to hit the consumer market.

Pretty sure you forgot THE MOST anticipated car of 2014.

Those graphics are breathtaking. Wish I could take a game like this about 25 years into the past just to show my 13-year-old, Sega-Master-System-playing self how amazing they are going to get. If they gave up having a huge selection of cars and tracks to achieve that level of detail, I think it was worth it. As Slater

It's a tough decision being a long time Forza fan now forced to switch to Gran Turismo but over $600 after taxes to play the new Forza makes the decision much easier.
