Maybe he just changed his face, and secretly reunited with the woman he loves?

I was pretty young when I started reading Kotaku; I remember when Crecente left and you became editor-in-chief. Thanks for everything you’ve done here, over all these years. Best of luck in the future!

In retrospect the game is pretty insistent on who can do what, but I made the exact same wrong first choices: sending Legion in the vents (“he’s a robot, he can hack good!”) and Samara to lead the B Team.

I come from the future (by way of this article about Toad) to remark that Bowsette came to be less than a week after this comment.

As someone has only recently watched all of the original trilogy for the first time, Temple of Doom is pretty terrible.

IIRC Reda is the name of a young-looking merchant in Origins who you encounter throughout the game. One can imagine it is the same Reda and he is some kind of immortal.

There’s an ice level in Hades? The surface is cold, but it’s snow and your movement is affected. Well, guess I gotta listen to the episode :P

Feels like there may need to be a re-review in a year or two after all the patches have come out. One hardly expects the poor handling of certain topics to get cleaned up much, but if systems get significantly changed alongside fixes of the many, many bugs,... I’ll want to know if it’s worth my time once it’s on sale

I’m sorry if I wasn’t clear. I’ve played the game and finished it recently. I just wanna see another person’s reaction to the end... but it’s true that having the context of their specific journey through the game will help enjoy it.

I’ve played that recently, so watching a playthrough is in my backlog. Though, I lowkey want to skip to the end, because I feel watching someone else learn to deal with the controls might be too much.

That’s more than half of Death Stranding. It’s frankly ridiculous.

Sometimes I want to convince someone else into playing for the first time and just letting me watch them figure it out, but I know I’d make the experience horrible for them by constantly pointing out “You missed something there. I know, I missed it too.” and the like.

That’s the famous drunk scene of Witcher 2. Witcher 3 had Eskel, Lambert and Geralt trying on Yennefer’s dresses and prank-calling a mage.

A year ago, I was ready to buy Cyberpunk 2077 the week it would release. Now, I’ve just bought Control and Death Stranding on sale, my backlog is in an okay place, and I’m just not compelled to play this right away. Not to mention I’ve been planning a Wild Hunt replay at some point; it might even come first.

Twin Peaks + Black Mirror = Twin Mirror?

Also fortune cookies are steeped in American racism, so it’s really appropriate.

It’s so sad to see Quebec go from the Orange wave to 32 BQ seats within a few elections. On the other hand, it’s an interesting demonstration of how much Canadian elections can swing versus how it works in the US.

A fun thing that came up was the stimulus packages Canadians got during the pandemic :)
