A 75-year-old Antifa? Psh, I know some 100-year-old Antifa, and we celebrate them every November 11th.

Never thought about it that way. And worse, he’s Rose’s ex and she was super into the Doctor who never quite realised it. So it’s like they’re both “leftovers” from Rose & the Doctor (though Rose came first).

Notably, it is out of respect for the National Day of Mourning in the USA, but that hasn’t stopped many people from whining about having to face companions for one more day.

Why not both? Hard agree that big companies can do more to actively call out racism instead of dropping a hashtagged post. The ones making donations are on the right track.

I’ve tried two Cards Against Humanity websites and while https://pretendyoure.xyz/zy/ was a bit janky to set up, it has a whole bunch of card packs and performed well.

Wow, I’ve played Rogue twice (replayed it in the Fall) and still hadn’t thought about the Viking sword you can get in that game! It would be really cool if they manage to connect Valhalla to that one. Only problem I see is that the sword is found in North America. Maybe a DLC will take place around Newfoundland?

My group and I often land in Relay because it’s not a hotspot. It’ll probably get busier with this map updated. I wonder if Skull Town being transformed will mean it’s no longer the drop zone for over half the teams? We’ll see.

The link for The Ascent takes me to the The Medium trailer.

Just Googled it. There’s 5 hidden Assassin artifacts in the modern day villa, and you get an achievement for collecting all of them. So not nothing, but not much.

IIRC AC3 had some story missions like that, where you play as Desmond infiltrating a stadium and later an Abstergo facility. But in reality, no, I don’t think we’ll get an entirely modern-day Assassin’s Creed because historical fantasy is a core premise of the games AND Ubisoft publishes other games like Watch Dogs

Nice list, I remember hearing about the Superhot card game but then forgot about it.

I am reminded of when my brothers and I would play Axis and Allies as kids, and my two favourite factions were Germany and Japan. I knew they were the “bad guys” in the conflict, but I didn’t know anything about the atrocities both regimes committed. Being of partially Chinese descent, I would have liked to play as

For sure, it’s a showcase series that can only be obtained by the pricier Collector Boosters, but the card itself isn’t all that great. So I can imagine it’ll be 10-20$? People who want to have the card will probably be able to get one, because it’s not like everyone will want copies to actually play in their decks.

Not weird, happens all the time on the Internet. People love to flex their knowledge/correction muscles, even if they’re the fifth in line to do it.

Teeeeeechnically they're using BB-9E to crush Jedi.

I’m late to the party, but I want to respond to a comment about Dara: yes, the character did feel pretty useless, but I’d like point out that the people in Brokilon Forest were dryads, not elves. Mousesack is a druid, so presumably they know each other, which would be why he was allowed into the forest without much

I’m so sad to see both of you go. Josh, we hardly knew ye but your articles often struck a personal chord for me. Gita, we really need more writers like you, not just PoC, but unapologetic writers who help you connect things to their personal experiences.

They’re talking about the Netflix series, and admit to not retaining a lot of names from the game. The statement “I can’t see recommending the show to a friend as a means of entry into the larger Witcher universe.” doesn’t require Riley to know everything about the larger Witcher universe. There’s really no point in

“What do you look like?”

This is relatable. I remember buying my first graphics card while in high school for our home computer; it’s pretty crazy to think my parents implicitly trusted me to install it myself without breaking anything.
