I remember being really annoyed at Chris Pine’s Kirk in this trailer. “Why are you talking to me man.” and “Yeah we do” - really short snippy lines that felt really out of character. I’m glad we got a version of his Kirk in this film series now though, I enjoyed him as Kirk and hope we get one more adventure (not h0ldi

Ooo I like this, he is a great character actor. Interesting choice for sure.

Who says we want to weed out accidental flesh lights?

Space CIA doesn’t appeal to you?

I’ll be shocked if we ever get a 4th kelvin film honestly. As for the Section 31 series set between VI and TNG, I am ALL FOR THAT! I have wanted something set post-VI since, well, since 1991.

I’ve read he takes really good care of himself health-wise - working out, eating well (I think he is or was vegan at one point?). Good for him. On the flip side, Bill Murray has looked 70 years old for the last decade or two. In my mind he’s just always been/looked old.

I cannot wait to get into this show then have it get canceled after a cliffhanger season 1 ending.

So as someone who admittedly never really played any Halo game, is this series worth a watch? It looks dope but all I see online (well, Reddit) is negative reviews / comments about it, comparing it to the games.

Since then, folks have been waiting for another King Kong game

While I see your point, I don’t think there’s much of a difference in the endings. In part because, if I understand the whole multiverse concept and Barry’s powers correctly, it kinda doesn’t matter who Batman is in this universe, because he (Flash) can go to others now (?) and see, well, any Batman. I dunno, I

I am and always will be a die-hard Subaru fanboy, but yea, those frigging Plastic Body Claddings...yuck. Stop it.

They also seem incredibly dangerous. I remember the article that came out when this latest design of GMC-brand SUVs started, where the writer had his child stand in front of a parked truck and you couldn’t see them over the hood.

Presumably Shaw will be involved somehow, I’m assuming in a flashback or one off. But that’s just a rumor I’ve seen floating around Reddit so who knows.

They had me at James Mangold.

Agreed, I felt like they really rushed to that ending in the episode. It was also one of the shorter eps of the season (which is odd for HBO, where they usually do an extended season finale). I did enjoy how it mirrored the game, but also felt like it was too quick.

If this were Reddit I’d give you some karma. 100000% agree with this statement.

JJ Loves Star Wars - when he was making Star Trek, he was making it into Star Wars. He even said he never liked ST cause it was too intellectual (eye-roll). So yes, he LOVES Star Wars all too much, and it caused him to ruin Star Trek.

I was so confused at first and thought this article was referencing Jason Lee of Mallrats/My Name is Earl fame.

Sure, he should be proud! Is it a great SW movie? No. But it’s not that bad. Honestly, I loved the return of Luke, flashbacks to trainings, and the end battle. Yes, he kinda messes with Luke (making him an old cranky sod), but I get the feeling JJ would have done the same.

I’ll raise you The Hot Spot from 1990, which includes a lot of nudity from both Virginia Madsen and Jennifer Connelly.
