For me this show rivals the graphic novel. Especially episode 6. So many butthurt racists and snyderdrones over this incredible and relevant series.

I wasn’t into this before because I feel like the MCU pretty much half assed their relationship, it was hard to really buy it.

No mention of the pitch perfect casting to put Kitty Foreman into the godsdamned MCU?

So, just checked IMDB and noticed that Kat Dennings is in this.  She’s hasn’t played Darcy since Thor: Dark World, very interesting to see her back in this of all series.

Definitely. Book 4 is the worst book (it’s still okay). After that they became much better writers (story aside). Book 5 is an absolutely great character novel and brilliantly shows the development of each character because of their relationships. From 5 on it’s just better and better.

We have been living in a dystopian society since the 80s. The only thing different is we have the internet now to confirm it.

It feels so much like when Heath Ledger and Philip Seymour Hoffman died. So much potential lost. So many great performances we will never see. It’s hard to even calculate the loss. 

What really worries me is that aside from the set up shot, there isn’t anything to even hint at character dynamics or where any of the four speak. I’m not feeling this is a story-driven game, which would suck so bad as I’ve been dying to get that damn Nightwing game.

Korra gets so much flack for not making anything clear until the comics, like we’ve already forgotten that any kind of gay content in American cartoons was COMPLETELY UNHEARD OF at the time, and someone needed to open the door so that shows like Steven Universe and She-Ra could go farther.

b/c they will cut off access.  so what?  b/c the journalists don’t have the facts to challenge for whatever reason - laziness?  stupidity?  b/c they fall back on that tired excuse - “let the idiot say stupid things & let the people hear them & decide for themselves.”

The simple answer is because there aren’t many actual journalists left any more. The vast majority of the news landscape has been taken over by talking heads, media mavens, and on-air personalities.
