the only one left alive will be cercei, sitting on the iron throne in a(n un)dead westeros.
good diction.
vanjie is surviving on her meme-ability. she’s beyond done but ru and the producers count on her as.. a mascot almost.
agreed.
ping pong ball. ru caught it.
manipulation and using a person’s weakness (in my case, my age and inexperience) against them until you’ve worn their defenses down enough they allow you to fuck them versus showing attention and small gestures because you’re interested in someone? what are you, a fucking psychopath?
ayup
yeah exactly. i like tormund and i don’t mind that he’s smitten with brienne. the script writers giving her zero agency besides looking grossed out and turning away is icky though. it just reinforces the dangerous idea men are supposed to wear down women's resistance and win them over. i'm afraid the show will give it…
very understandable.
no one seems to notice that brienne looks at tormund with absolute digust everytime he makes eyes at her. they just go ‘aww he’s got a crush, who gives a fuck what she thinks’
cercei on the throne in a room of snow and ashes, the palace surrounded by wights, completely alone but _on the throne_. the perfect ending.
she's a shit choice for winner of the throne, simple as that. advisor, warrior, assassin, sure. but queen? idiotic.
...it's about gender. dany and cercei both.
that brooke moment might have been the untucked highlight of my life.
the difference is yvie has the vocabulary and intelligence and emotional depth to actually come this hard. silky... does not.
silky needs to go. like yesterday.
elizabeth was basically taken hostage and forced into marriage to end the war, subdue the yorks and forge the tudor regime by uniting L+Y. it’s... not a perfect fit.
who are tyrion and sansa representing in this WOTR scenario?
when lacking a legitimate heir it wasnt uncommon to legitimize a bastard son, but i don’t think there is a straight connection to the war of the roses. but pretender kings were common and he has a claim of baratheon blood so who knows. would be a bit anti climactic though.
