when i would talk about sandbox mode, i was always thinking of a new kind of custom mode. Where we the players could make our own game types, or variations to maps, things like that ( poroking, urf, catch the teemo, etc). Thats what I really want is a game building mode.

I can see this being use for a D&D/D20 game. The GM would use the hololens for the bird eye view letting them manipulate the world and set up scenarios. While the players would have a first person view and travel through the world using the controller.
