Yes. Anecdotally, I know a number of Bernie supporters who basically seem to want to vote for him or nobody. I don’t really get it.

Never mind seeing her actually execute progressive ideas, not just pay them lip service and stay “independent.”

Came here to say this - the flaw in the logic of this article is that Bernie will never, ever drop out. And if he did, he would never share resources. He’s Nader 2.0, to a tee, savior complex and all.

Sexists: Overt sexists (see the criticisms of Warren being a “school marm” type). Subconscious sexists. People who don’t consider themselves sexist but also think a woman can’t win so they won’t vote for her.

Bernie will never drop out. He’s still all pissed over losing to Hillary in 2016 and he knows, beyond any doubt, this is absolutely his last shot at the brass ring.

If this happened to Warren, Splinter would be calling for her to drop out and endorse Bernie. If it happened to Biden, Splinter would report him legally dead. If it happened to Hillary Clinton in 2015-16, Splinter would publish Breitbart-like conspiracies about her health problems.

Don’t worry...someone will find a damning email from the DNC to Bernie’s circulatory system.

We can hope. This might be the only thing that can diffuse the crazier parts of his base. Although, being unable to blame Clinton or the DNC might short out their brains.
