I disagree; early in the show his impending death was a major element but they abandoned that fairly early on with his complete remission from cancer that never came back and was basically never mentioned again. It would have been a more fitting end for Walter, IMO, to have lived out the rest of his life in that sad

So this would be like stripping someone of their title because they completed the race on a stolen bike? Like they’re not saying that his using the bike conferred an “unfair advantage” in principle but that he obtained the bike in an improper way, right? I guess I can sort of see the logic but this still seems

I’ve read three of her novels and White Teeth is the only one that really grabbed me; I can’t believe you describe it as “cold” as what I remember most about it was how lush and organic her world building was.

How are the Powerpuff Girls and fucking Star Wars not considered mainstream?

>Well, it will make many of us start rooting for the Rockets to...reach the NBA Finals

I mean, if he thinks he can do better the entire literary world is waiting for him to do so. So far D&D have written the best ending to the series; if GRRM wants to top them he’s welcome to try. Dude talks a lot of smack for someone who’s had writers block for good decade now.

Yep this 100%. For all of Bernie’s legitimate complaints about the 2016 nomination process the way he handled things undoubtedly helped Trump in the general election. The amount of time and money Hillary had to pour into fucking California - one of the bluest states in the country - when Bernie was all but

2016: I’m not sexist, I’d vote for a woman but just not Hillary Clinton, she’s awful! Now someone like Elizabeth Warren, her I could get behind.

It’s strange that this book is overtly “co-written” with an actual author instead of just ghost-written by an actual author with the star getting sole writing credit like every other celebrity memoir.

>But nobody is criticizing Scorcese. Why is this film different?

This stuff is so good; it’s got a cult like following in the US and I think I read somewhere that it’s the top selling sauce in all of China. I wouldn’t really consider it a hot sauce though, despite the word SPICY in the name it doesn’t really add very much heat, it’s just a huge wallop of unami (ie., salt + MSG).

Gochujang is kind of like ketchup in the sense that the taste is so distinctive that anything you put it on will just end up tasting like a bowl of gochujang. That was certainly my experience living in Korea where gochujang gets slathered on pretty much everything.

I can defend the early seasons; Ty Burell and Eric Stonestreet are both gifted comic actors and the writing back then was usually fairly sharp and witty and made great use of the extended family dynamic. I get that it’s not everyone’s taste but I can see why it became a success.

I think this is likely what happened. I don’t think he’s under contract for many more movies (possibly just one?) so he likely told Sony that he’d walk if they didn’t make a deal with Disney. Of course we can’t know all the details of the new agreement but it sure seems like Sony caved fairly significantly as Disney

I imagine if this had been Joe Biden or Elizabeth Warren the coverage would be exactly the same, right?

Have you ever known a Bernie supporter to be swayed by facts?

Yep, I like Bernie’s politics but he’s too fucking old to be running for president. TBH I don’t get why Americans think you have to be a senior citizen to be qualified to be president; Canada is having an election right now and the leaders of the three major parties - one of whom will certainly be the next prime

Dave Grohl is the American Chad Kroeger.

Sorry for writing a thoughtful answer to your question, I’ll ignore you in the future.

Your argument is entirely emotional; because you like Tesla you enjoyed the process they set up which involved you accepting exactly what they offered on exactly their terms. Great, glad you had a good car buying experience!
